God Loves His Church NOT Religion: We must Know the Difference
A report is shared from The Guardian concerning the Church, and the title is, England’s Churches can Survive – but the Religion will Have to go. Religion is a form of godliness but no God. It is trying to mimic the Christian lifestyle without Christ. Who is your allegiance to? It is much easier to be the Church when religion is gone. George Barna asked a Pastor over a traditional Church in his book, Revolution, what would happen if you started preaching the Kingdom of God? The Pastor said that he would probably lose many of his members and that his peers would think less of him. No matter where we are we are one Church! It is time for us to be the Church. We answer to God alone, and we can find others who only have their allegiance to Jesus.
We need to get to the basics and not play church anymore. We need to love and care for each other. Maybe you are called to relate to VFN Dream Center and if you feel that call contact us! We want to hear from you. Also shared in this segment: religion, relationship, authenticity, Vine Seminars, England, The Guardian, Charles Finney, mega expression, doctrines of demons, and transformation. Yahoo CEO Shares Secret to Success: Ruthlessly Prioritize – God, Family, Yahoo
Yahoo CEO, Marissa Mayer shares her secrets to success. She started her career with Google and helped established many of the foundational products of the company Google. Now as the CEO of Yahoo she was asked, what is the most important thing she does to get it all done? She responds, “You have to ruthlessly prioritize.” Being from Wisconsin, she quotes Vince Lombardi, “In my life there are three things: God, family, and the Green Bay Packers. In that order.” In her case, she expresses her priorities as “God, family, and Yahoo. In that order.” It is so important to follow Marissa’s example and “ruthlessly prioritize.” We need to be able to say no to some things and yes to other things. We can live life on purpose versus living life on accident. Jesus says, “This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” God wants us to bear fruit in our life in all areas. Everything we do should point to Jesus and show that we are truly Christ’s followers. Many that had the greatest impact in this life were not even focused on this life but were focused on eternity. Because of that eternity focus they lived life on purpose and led many to Jesus. What impact are you having in life? There are several questions we need to ask ourselves to make sure we are on the right track. Steve Hill said, “The opportunity of a lifetime must be seized within the lifetime of that opportunity,” life is short! We should appreciate the opportunity that we have before we lose it.
