Prophetic Encounter: A.I., Robots and Our Future, Will it Push Human’s Aside?
God showed Greg Lancaster, through a prophetic encounter the future of A.I. (Artificial Intelligence] with human-like robotic simulation. You’ll be shocked at what is ahead. But first, there was once a day when every product in the marketplace was brought about by the intensive work with human hands. When the Industrial Revolution came into effect, the individual worker would forever be changed. No longer would the output be determined by human strength. Now, the human worker could rely on the ability of a machine to produce what human muscles could only dream about. The Industrial Age was here to stay. Today, we are experiencing a new age: The Information Age. At one point, businesses were limited to the capacity of the human brain and human intellect. Those days are long gone as we rely more heavily upon the powers of computers. Have we gone too far?
To get a better understanding of this new advancement, the words of Andrew McAfee, a research scientist with MIT, brings to light the unprecedented realities that we are facing. “We are overcoming the limitations of our minds. We’re not getting rid of them. We’re not making them unnecessary. But, holy cow can we leverage them and amplify them. You have to be a huge pessimist not find that profoundly good news.” What about being wise? God created ALL of Creation, seen and unseen. He also created US! It’s one thing to overcome the ability of our muscle power. When we begin to address overcoming our mind, how God created us to function, our soul, that is some touchy ground.
In our present culture, so many people believe that knowledge is the answer. But as 1 Corinthians 8:1 reveals, “…knowledge puffs up while love builds up”. People can Google a question and read you the information that the website presents to them, but they do not know through experience what they are simply repeating. Many people will find out, if they were unplugged from technology, there is very little that they actually “know”. Instead of learning through process and experience, people are now looking to technology to already know things for them.
There is no question that Artificial Intelligence is changing the global landscape of the marketplace, and how the world operates. President of Microsoft, Brad Smith, shares these words about A.I.: “A.I. is a little bit like electricity, everybody is going to use it. Every company is going to be incorporating A.I., integrating it into what they do. Governments are going to be using it. Non-profit organizations are going to be using it. It’s going to create all kinds of benefits in ways large and small and challenges for us as well.” There is no doubt that it will make life easier. But you must think about this. These days need wisdom and much prayer to seek the direction from the Lord on how to navigate these days.
PROPHETIC ENCOUNTER WITH A.I./ROBOT: The Lord spoke to Greg Lancaster in a prophetic encounter at night. Greg was in a marketplace looking for food trying to grab something to eat quickly and head to work. While waiting at a counter for someone to help him, a young woman walked up beside him looking at the food on display as well. Between him and this young woman, this woman’s robot/A.I. walked up along her left side and his right side shoving him a bit to the left as it forced its way in to be by its owners’ side. It looked similar to this young woman but was this woman’s personal robot. This robot had no concern that Greg [a human] was immediately next to it. After remembering what all the creators of A.I., Machine Learning, and Robots say about this technology, saying that is will yield to humans and not harm them. [Their “driverless cars” for example. They say it will be safer for humans than human drivers.] Remembering this, Greg stepped back from it to test to see if it would acknowledge or yield to his presence and gently nudged it on its left shoulder. Swaying gently, it gave no response that Greg existed as it continued to be there by its owner’s side.
People have repeatedly insisted that Artificial Intelligence will exist for our benefit and will serve and support us, human beings. As this prophetic encounter continued, to test the robot at a higher-level Greg forcefully shoved the robot from its left side in the direction of the woman. It swayed slightly, more hand the first time and then returned to its original posture standing next to the woman. Greg thought about approaching it with compassion to see if it would acknowledge his presence by taking its left hand and politely holding it and speaking to it. After reaching for the hand of the robot, there was absolutely no response from it of Greg’s existence!
We are entering an arena that we know very little about what will come. Consider the environment of the night vision that Greg received. He was in the marketplace looking to exchange currency for goods. Artificial Intelligence was introduced, and it affected Greg’s ability to purchase goods. Revelation 13:15-18 pinpoints what the Beast Economy will look like. “And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.” The more today’s technology advances, the more we can see Revelation 13 materializing before our very eyes.
So many people believe that the digital experience that they are having is not altered in any way. This is simply not true. Through Artificial Intelligence, logarithms are presenting information to the end-user through behavior modifications that the viewer wants to look at. This is not by accident. Software engineers are fully aware of this process. They designed it to be that way. We have to be smarter than this technology, smarter than these computers. It is vital that the Body of Christ move in wisdom.
The developers and inventors of this technology may not have the intention to go this direction, but the truth is, we are headed in this direction. The Bible has already revealed that these days are going to happen. A great harvest of souls is upon us. Are we prepared? Are we in Christ? Have we made Jesus Christ the Lord of our lives? It is so vital that we prepare ourselves for these days.
