BREATHE
In the furnace of life, where trials forge our steel,
Wrestling chaos and strife, we question what is real.
A tempest in the mind, in torrents, fears unspool,
Remember then, to find, your breath’s tranquil pool.
The world may roar and sway, as tides of worry crest,
Each moment, a disarray, an unwelcome guest.
Yet, beneath the clamor loud, an anchor ever true,
In your breath, soft and proud, a sanctuary for you.
Inhale the promise of dawn, exhale the day’s regret,
In the quietude drawn, find peace from life’s duet.
In breath, surrender strife, let the moment be,
Embrace this gift of life, in simplicity, just breathe.
When you’re lost in darkest night, your heart besieged by fears,
Breathing brings the light, and clarity appears.
Each inhale a prayer of hope, each exhale, release,
In breath’s rhythmic envelope, find strength and inner peace.
So, remember to breathe, through storms of pain and stress,
In your trusty breath, find solace and egress.
An elixir for the soul, a balm for every wound,
In every breath you hold, life’s melody is tuned.
[Jesus] breathed on them and said,
‘Receive the Holy Spirit.‘
John 20:22 (NIV)
