Israel willingly Accepts Cease Fire, Hamas Defiantly Rejects It and Continues to Launch Rockets into Israel brings strong Condemnation from Secretary John Kerry
Greg, Pat and John share about the recent responses of the cease fire that was recently offered in regards to the Israel Gaza fighting. When Israel willingly accepted the cease fire, Hamas rejected it. Not only did Israel accept, but they stopped all of their defensive measures. How did Hamas respond? Hamas continued to send another 15 rockets after the deadline of the ceasefire. Secretary of State John Kerry responded by rebuking Hamas and recognizing them as a terrorist organization. What if this was you being bombarded?
“I cannot condemn strongly enough the actions of Hamas in so brazenly firing rockets in multiple numbers in the face of a goodwill effort to offer a ceasefire, in which Egypt and Israel worked together, that the international community strongly supports,” Kerry told reporters in Vienna on Tuesday morning…Kerry said that Hamas is “purposely playing politics” by continuing the rocket fire, using innocent lives as “human shields… against the laws of war.” “And that is why they are a terrorist organization…”
