In recent events, we have heard the leader of America proclaim that America is no longer a Christian nation. When we look at foundational events in the Supreme Court, we see a bold declaration to America’s Judeo-Christian roots. In 1892, a people commenced, bringing to the Supreme Court ideas that conflicted with the beliefs of what America stood for. As a response, Supreme Court Justice David Josiah Brewer detailed multiple realities that highlighted America as a Christian nation.
