It is God’s Will for Everyone to be Healed He Paid it already; Paid in Full
The heart of God is to heal those with pain, sickness, disease, and demonic oppression in their lives. We can see this as evident by looking at Jesus’ life and how we responded to those who came to Him desiring to be healed. HE HEALED THEM ALL. When God does these powerful healings in our lives and in the lives of others, it is important to capture them and make them known to others. Art Thomas expresses exactly that when he shares what the Lord told him regarding testimonies, “I want you to use testimony like war propaganda. #1 It rallies the troops; #2 It recruits new soldiers; #3 It intimidates the heck out of the enemy.” The difference between war propaganda and testimony, as Art shares, “testimony is all true.” When a body of believers came together in fellowship, this is exactly what happened as one by one, each came up to share how God healed them in their lives. When a man walks through the airport with a torn rotator cuff, it is only moments after receiving prayer, that Jesus Christ completely heals his shoulder.
When Jesus submitted Himself to the will of The Father and was crucified upon The Cross, He paid in full for the sins of mankind. The blood that was shed upon that cross not only paid the price for every sin that was committed and the salvation of souls to come into The Kingdom, but it also paid the price for the healing in our physical body. God desires for each of us to know His compassion and love. Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 2:4 “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power.” If we are only declaring words, then this is not the whole message. Jesus moved in power, and He also moved in love as He spoke about The Kingdom. The power that is in the name of Jesus Christ is so powerful that even those who do not know Jesus will carry out signs, wonders and miracles. Jesus brings this important truth to reality in Matthew 7:21-23 when He said, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’. It’s not about the healing or the miracle, it’s about the Gospel, the Good News that the Blood of Jesus Christ paid the price, in full. When we see healings occur in the name of Jesus, our faith rises and increases believing that God will do greater things.
God desires for His Church to walk in the fullness, in the faith, in the power, and in the same love and compassion that Jesus walked in. There is an awakening of healing coming to The Church as she awakens to the reality of who she is in Christ. Allow your faith to be stirred and challenged, your hunger to increase for more of God in your life as you see the beginning realities of what it means to ‘walk as Jesus walked’, and so much more.
