“It Seems Like I should Never Have Joy Again because I Miss Him”, Taya Kyle, Honoring Our Veterans This Memorial Day

Chris Kyle was one of America’s deadliest weapons against the enemies on the battlefield. Serving in the Navy as a Navy Seal, he also served as a sniper. After surviving multiple combat tours, Kyle was murdered after returning home. His wife, Taya Kyle, is now continuing her life seeking to reach out and help others. Taya has created the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation to help families after deployments. Taya has written a new book AmericanWife, seeking to help other military marriages as well. She was recently interviewed by CBN about how her life is.

Considering the reality of Chris’s murder, Taya comments how she never got angry. “God promises free will and with that, people have the choice to do evil and He doesn’t just promise that for one person…its free will period. It’s your choice.” She continues to share how God has helped her through the process; “What He does promise is that He’ll bring beauty through the ashes. God knows it’s going to happen and I can tell you the ways and the things that I feel He did to prepare me for it…”

When asked about the importance of helping military families and marriages, she shares, “When we heal the marriage, it says in the Bible, ‘God first, marriage second, and children third’ and a lot of times when you are separated for so long…one of the spouses, whoever is home, is putting the kids first and then trying to put the marriage first, and to figure it all out can be a bit of a mess.” Because of her actions to benefit others she was awarded the ‘Gabby Giffords Award for Courage and Bravery’.

The opportunities to help and benefit so many others doesn’t come without her own continuing struggles. “I feel that you can’t even predict grief”. Taya also shares that there is blessing in these hard times; “The blessing in it is that I feel that I’ve been so broken that I’ve had no choice but to trust that God will take care of it. I just have to keep trying to do my best with whatever it is that’s in front of me.” She continues, “It seems like I should never have joy again because I miss him.”

We are thankful for the overwhelming support and honorfrom the State of Texas how Kyle was recognized during his funeral. Just like Texas remembered the sacrifice of Kyle, we remember the sacrifice of all of those that gave the ultimate sacrifice of their lives. What is surprising amidst the support from Texas, President Obama did not comment at all. Could it be that doing so, he would be acknowledging the enemy that Chris was fighting while on his deployments did exist, and what Chris had done was right?

While some may not be supportive of our military, there are elected leaders, like Senator Tom Cotton, from Arkansas, who openly stand behind and support our military. In addition, he openly comments against those who reportedly seek to defund our nation’s military. These were just some of the words he used to express Nevada Senator Harry Reid, when speaking at the U.S. Senate, “This institution will be cursed less with his cancerous leadership” and that Senator Reid’s comments are likened to ”bitter, vulgar, incoherent, ramblings.” What sparked these remarks was Senator Reid’s reported actions of trying to stop funding for our troops.

It’s amazing how culture today can have zero compassion for others and be totally okay with someone losing their life. Greater power means greater responsibility. We will all be held accountable for how we handle the lives of others, especially those that have been positioned into places of leadership. Every life matters. If we do not value life, then others are not going to value our life.

“This institution will be Cursed Less with His Cancerous Leadership”, Sen Cotton Rebukes Sen Reid for Trying to Stop Funding of Our Military

At a time when our nation faces increasing threats around the world, one would gather that our elected leaders would be in support of our military. But, this isn’t always true.  As a veteran himself, Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton, expresses his strong comments towards Nevada Senator Harry Reid who is reportedly trying to defund our military. While speaking at the U.S. Senate, Senator Tom Cotton compared Senator Reid’s words as “vulgar, incoherent ramblings” and that “this institution will be cursed less with his cancerous leadership”.

It matters how we treat others, and how we don’t treat others; especially our military. Some have expressed unconcern regarding those that have lost their lives. How different would the reality be if it were their life that was lost? See Senator Cotton’s full words at the U.S. Senate, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: compassion, responsibility, leadership, accountability, and life. Greg and Steve shared in this segment.

Is there a Convergence of Prophetic Words Regarding the Presidential Elections? God is Still In Control

The nation is watching as the current Presidential Elections undergo all their twists and turns. Considering the many prophetic words regarding these elections, there appears to be a convergence. Brian Carnhas prophesied that “People will lose trust in the voting process. They will deny and doubt America’s political process to vote and acquire leadership. This next election will be manipulated.” Considering how much of the traditional ways have been ‘shaken up’ throughout this race, John Paul Jackson gave a remarkable interpretation of a particular dream and its application.

A woman recently shared a dream she was given. In the dream, suddenly “this big bulldozer bulldozes through the parking lot of cars and right through the White House just like it was a deck of cards. So we start praying in the spirit immediately.” As John Paul Jackson reveals, ““You’re seeing man’s plans; and your seeing God saying, ‘I have a plan that will bulldoze right through the plans of men.” Amidst men’s focus on politics and government, God is still in control and God will reveal just how strong Washington D.C. is; “Washington D.C. is a house ofcards.”When Brett Holderbaum was worshipping, the Lord showed him a tropical disturbance off the Coast of Africa and then a map. It was this visual that was identical as to how hurricanes form. He asked what The Lord was saying; and in response he was told ‘A fresh wind will blow through Washington’.

It is an encouraging reminder that right before people get dealt with, they are in their highest confidence. They will be sure that their way is right. This was the very reality that took place when Jehu was anointed King of Israel in 2 Kings 9. At the time King Ahab and Jezebel were celebrating. Little did they know, their reign was soon to end. In addition, all the leadership that had been established by Ahab and Jezebel was also removed as shared in 2 Kings 10. In order for our present realities to change, the leadership has to change. Don’t put your trust in men but in God.

Be encouraged as you are reminded that government is not in control, but that God is in control. Hear the full words from theses prophetic words, and so much more. Governor of Oklahoma Rejects Bill to Make Abortion a Felony & South Carolina Governor Passes 20 Week Abortion Bill

For years, prayers have been offered up that God would END ABORTION! Many good reports have been shared as legislation has been passed against the practicing of abortion in America. According to USA Today, “Oklahoma has created a bill that would make getting an abortion a felony.” Surprisingly, Governor of Oklahoma, Mary Fallin vetoed the bill stating “this bill is so ambiguous and so vague”. Considering the bill was struck down, it is a huge victory that a bill of this magnitude is even being discussed and sent to the Governor’s desk. While on a greater note, South Carolina Governor, Nikki Haley, just signed a bill that would ban any abortion after 20 weeks.

If we do not value life in the womb, then our lives will not be valued as we get older. This is the very dichotomy expressed in James Dobson’s book Fatherless. Hear more about these powerful and encouraging bills, the storyline of Fatherless, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: legislation, voting, the unborn, rights, human life, retirement, college education, Focus on The Family, and assisted living. “A lot of people Chose Quail when God Really Wanted Them to Have Manna”, David Barton Gives Wise Christian Perspective of Elections

The nation is watching as we near closer and closer to the recognition of the next President. How did we get here? Founder of Wallbuilders, David Barton, shares insightful wisdom regarding the realities that we are presently facing. “It seems like there is a lot of people who didn’t want to choose the timeless principles that have guided us.” Is this the same journey that played out in the Bible in Exodus 16? Paraphrasing the decisions of the Israelites while in the desert, Barton expresses, “A lot of people chose quail when God really wanted them to have manna.”

As a reminder of our own difficult past, Barton shares, “This is certainly not the first time in America that we’ve had a culture in conflict.” When remembering John Quincy Adam’s staunch position of anti-slavery as often a single voice in Congress on the perspective of anti-slavery, we are reminded, “Duty is Ours. Results are God’s”. When looking at the results of the present elections, Barton shares 3 lessons he has learned: 1) Nothing catches God by surprise; 2) God is not nearly so concerned as to what happens to you as to how you respond to what happens to you; and 3) All things will work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose.

It is important that we not vote what “everybody else is voting” but that we vote Biblical values each and every time we have the opportunity. If the Press had been around during the days of Jesus, they would have overwhelmingly told the people that Jesus would of lost. Every broadcast would say that Jesus was not going to win. Based on these reports, more people would have voted against Jesus than those who voted for Jesus. If we are voting for principles other than Biblical principles, these are principles that lead to the wide road of destruction. We must educate ourselves on the voting process and make our decisions before the eyes of God. Hear the full comments from David Barton, the importance of Biblical Values when voting, and so much more.
