When we hear prophetic words, they are like water on a dry desert land. We cannot come into agreement with that which we have not heard. When we look at this new year of 2018, what has been revealed prophetically is that this is the year of the open door. When Hank Kunneman shared with Sid Roth what the Lord has revealed prophetically what is taking place, Kunneman shared how he was awakened from sleep and he heard door after door slamming shut. When he inquired of the Lord about what this was, the Lord shared, ”this is where people have been, where it seems like there has been one door, after another door, after another door, after another door, that has been slamming shut”. As Kunneman continues to point out, “but this is a different year”.
Kunneman shares how the Lord led him to look at Jesus’ first miracle when water was turned into wine at the wedding. John 2:10 reveals that “you have saved the best till now”. Kunneman reminds us that Jesus said to give us this day our daily bread. God moves in the present, in the now. “Lord God, I declare that every door that has been slamming shut, I command in the name of Jesus that it now open. Now, same day for the people, whatever their needs are.”
So many of us have received so much rejection that we think this is how things always will be. God is transferring businesses to people who have wanted business. He sees those that are not honoring Him with what He has given, and He is about to transfer things to those who will honor him. When we begin to look at things the way God sees them, we transcend the understanding of how we may have looked at things before. This is the power of hearing a prophetic word from the Lord. Vera points out how long it takes for wine to be made and for it to be good wine. “So also, in that miracle, he also compressed the time”. Vera explains, “what could have taken 3 years, is going to take 3 months because God is compressing the time”. In this season, God is pouring out His Spirit that we have never fathomed. Vera continues to explain how God is fulfilling the words of Jesus from Matthew 20:16, “So the last will be first, and the first will be last.” With this understanding, he explains how God is delivering people from a spirit of poverty. “God is going to set free the Latino community and the African America community in America.” Vera continues, “we are going to see an awakening of prosperity come in those communities where they are going to go up to be first”.
This is so powerful and encouraging to understand. When financial breakthrough and blessings come, we must have the character and integrity to manage those blessings. Many who won the lottery ended up losing it all. This is the beauty and blessing of VFNKB. We want to help others thrive in where God has called them to serve. You may be in business for yourself, but you are not in business by yourself. When you understand the why of what you are doing, you are able to overcome the daily trials much more successfully than if you did not understand your why.
There are business owners out there, who have lost this understanding, and are simply going about their daily routines, paying bills, making payroll, and have forgotten the reason for starting what they are now in. When we have vision, we are able to endure the short-term trials that causes many to crumble.
