WATCH or LISTEN NOW! In the first part of this 2 Part Segment, Greg, Pat, and John, share about an exciting “Stand for Israel” event that occurred on the Gulf Coast in Pensacola, Florida. These are critical days that we the people, the nation, and the church stand for Israel and WITH Israel. On a sunny summer day, hundreds of people gathered to demonstrate their allegiance to Israel and the Jewish people. The Stand for Israel was organized by the Pensacola Jewish . Event co-organizer, Jerome Gordon provided an opportunity for many to express their heart for Israel. WATCH FULL PROGRAM!

During this event, VFNtv was able to capture a myriad of encouraging interviews as local residents from the Gulf Coast expressed their insights of Israel, 3 things that come to mind for Israel, and how many can demonstrate their support for the nation of Israel. Talk Show Radio Host of 1330 WEBY’s “Your Turn”, Mike Bates, event co-organizer Jerome Gordon, and local business owner Kenneth E. Lamb share in their own words how we must stand for Israel and how Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. Mike Bates brings insight into what is happening in Israel as he reminds us that it must be taken into consideration with a historical context.

Rabbi Eric Tokajer from Brit Ahm Messianic Synagogue shares 4 things of what we can do in this present day in response for supporting Israel: 1) contact your congress stating that you support Israel; 2)in this present world of the internet, buy something from Israel. Support the economy of Israel; 3) Go to Israel and stand with the people of the land of Israel; 4) Pray for Israel. Pray for the peace of Israel. What some might not be aware of is the different ways that one can volunteer to be in support of Israel. Representative for Volunteer Israel, Jerry Barnet, shares how someone as a civilian can travel to Israel and be in support of the Israeli Defense Forces. President of Southern Scrap Co. & member of B’Nai Israel Synagogue, Gene Rosenbaum, remind us of the immeasurable contributions that Israel has provided to the world in their 60 years of becoming a nation in 1948.

State of Florida District 2 Representative, Mike Hill, brings forth a shining declaration of light as he asks the question, “Is there not a cause?!” Representative Hill also shares the encouraging words of the resolution that is currently going through the needed processes declaring that the State of Florida stands with and for Israel.

Within the crowds of those who were sharing their allegiance to Israel, there were also those sharing their stand for the freedom of Gaza. The honesty they expressed was refreshing and after sharing important points of clarity about the conflict between Israel and Gaza, it was clear, they were simply misinformed.
