Remember 9/11 – 13 Years Later- We just didn’t just get here

Greg, Pat and John share the importance, on days like today, the importance of remembering our history and the tragic events that took place on September 11, 2001. This day, 13 years ago, terrorists hijacked four different planes bringing fear and declaring war to America. Looking back on the events of Radical Islam against America 13 years ago can be viewed as a cold compared to the flu of the Radical Islam being presently seen. Taking into consideration the timeline of events that have taken place regarding Islam has been talked about in depth. Beginning with the first Presidential speech at Cairo University, to Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann sounding the horn of the ideas and concepts of Radical Islam being purged, to al Qaeda, Hamas, ISIS, and now ISIL, has been summed up and confirmed with remarks from former Vice President Dick Cheney. According to the Daily Beast, and according to Rep. John Fleming of Louisiana, Cheney said that Obama “has actually done things that have supported the Muslim Brotherhood.’ The former vice president then went on to name the Muslim Brotherhood as ‘the beginning of all the Islamist groups that we’re dealing with now like Hamas and ISIS.’” If someone named Paul is hitting you, it doesn’t matter if they change their name to Bill; you’re still being hit. In response to the atrocities of ISIS, it is significant to recognize that the President did comment that he was not for the evilness coming out of this.

Again, looking back 13 years ago at the leadership of America, President George W. Bush shared his opinion about America pulling forces out of Iraq. His comments at the time were highlighting the reality that is presently being seen. “To begin withdrawing before our commanders tell us we are ready would be dangerous for Iraq, for the region, and for the United States……..It would mean that we’d be risking mass killings on a horrific scale……It would mean we’d be increasing the probability that American troops would have to return at some later date to confront an enemy that is even more dangerous.” Without knowing our history, we are bound to repeat it. In contrast to Former President Bush’s response to military generals, President Obama has decided to do the contrary considering the insight. Even amidst bad partnerships, the Bible brings clear guidance and what to do and how to respond. Be encouraged as you learn how the church can respond, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: ISIS, Radical Islam, George W. Bush, President Obama, Dick Cheney, Fox, 9/11, Twin Towers, CBN, religious spirit, and repentance.

Army Lt. Col. Denied Access to child’s High School

Greg, Pat and John talk about the recent events coming out of a Michigan High School. As a 24 year Army Veteran, Lt. Col. Sherwood Baker, was visiting his daughter as she was starting a new high school, Fox News reports. What he was told by security guards comes as a shock considering Baker was visiting his daughter while wearing his uniform. In order to get into the high school, he was told by high school security guards, to remove his uniform as others may be offended because of it. It is important to understand that it was just 13 years ago, those men and women stood up in their uniforms, and made the decision to fight a war in order to defend the freedom of America and for the citizens within it. Find out more of the details of this shocking event, how the school is responding, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: Michigan, Rochester Adams High School, Constitution, and military.

“If You Don’t Stand for the Jews I won’t Stand for you”, says Senator Ted Cruz

Greg, Pat and John discuss comments made by Texas Senator Ted Cruz at an “In Defense of Christians” summit held in Washington D.C. Senator Cruz made a bold stand for Jews and Christians: “Those who hate Jews hate Christians. ……If you hate the Jewish people, you are not reflecting the teachings of Christ. …..If you will not stand with Israel and the Jews, I will not stand with you.” With these remarks, Senator Cruz was booed. It is important to remember how this event came about. According to the Washington Free Beacon, “Funding for the conference was provided by a Clinton donor and Lebanese-Nigerian billionaire Gilbert Chagoury, according to organizers. The wealthy businessman pledged $1 billion to the Clinton Global Initiative in 2009.” Find out the details of these bold statements, the significance of the Jews and Christians, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: Senator Ted Cruz, persecution, Radical Islam, and boldness.
