LISTEN NOW!Greg, Pat and Steve share an encouraging message of how to be hopeful in increasing days of hardship and difficulty. Imagine a plant sees a tiller coming towards it. What is seen as painful is actually meant to prepare the plant and help it to grow. In John 15:5, Jesus shares, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” Often times, when we realize what we had been putting our hope in fails us, we get distressed and worrisome. On the contrary, it is actually a good thing. It is at this moment we realize we are putting our hope and trust in something, or someone other than God. “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” -Romans 15:13. Be encouraged as you learn a biblical perspective of hardships, how to have your trust and hope in God, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: Phil Robertson, deception, rumors of war, ISIS, circumstances, and hope.
