     I am  my Brother’s Keeper
John, Pat and Chris discuss what it means to be my brother’s keeper after they played a segment of two brothers Caden and Collen.  Caden and his brother are a team as triathlon athletes accept that one of the brothers was born with autism.  Conner loved his brother and competed with him as his teammates not ever finishing first but definitely finishing together.  They encourage us as the church to help our brothers and sisters in need.  Not to judge them and criticize them but to love them on their journey.  Mother Theresa said that if we spend all of our time judging people we won’t have any time to love them.
Prophetic Warning to America with Hope
John, and Pat discuss the prophetic warning given to America as Jonathan Cahn, Pastor and Rabbi was interviewed by CBN’s Pat Robertson.  Jonathan Cahn is the author of NY Times Best seller The Harbinger.  One year after being published and over 1 million copies sold.  The harbinger which means warning have been read by many and has even made it to Capitol Hill.  In The Harbinger, Jonathan writes about the prophetic warnings that were given to Israel before they faced judgment; the Assyrian invasion.  It was for a nation that knew God but turned away from God and instead of turning back to the Lord they defied him and faced judgment.  Jonathan shares 9 harbingers that are now appearing on American soil.  America is facing the judgment of God unless the church and America repents.  Warnings are good because it gives us time to repent and turn to God.  There is still hope for America.  The hope for America is the church going first humbly and repenting, leading the way to turning our hearts back to God.  God can touch America again.
Rules vs. Relationship:Only one Way to Jesus
John and Pat discuss how there are two approaches to God; one that consists of rules and the other that is rooted in loving relationship with God.  One focuses on outward performance like the Pharisees did and one focuses not so much on outward signs for men but living for God from our hearts.  One emphasis is an inward conviction of the heart and the other is based upon ritualistic and ceremonial outward experiences that have a form of Godliness but completely void of God.  They continue to encourage us to pursue a relationship with Jesus and to repent if we have fallen to go through the motions because we know the “right thing” to do but no inner passion or relationship with God.   The only way we make it is by having a loving relationship with God from our heart since outward signs mean nothing to him without him having our hearts.  Matthew 15:8 says “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.”  We can make the decision to love God with all of our hearts today.
