    Intercessor Vs. Inter “successor” continued
Greg, John, and Pat continue to share about Intercessor vs. Inter “successor”.  The Bible tells us that the prayers of a righteous man availeth much, James 5:16.  The same is true with prayers that are not prayed with right motives.  A satanic strategy is to disguise it as real prayer.  They continued to discuss how an intercessor would respond to Abraham and as well as how an inter “successor” would respond and interact with Abraham.  We have to find out who is anointed to lead and to follow the one who is.

    VFN Torch Top 3 February 1, 2013
John and Greg share about the Top 3 Stories on the VFN Torch on February 1, 2013:
Greg’s Flashlight goes out in the woods
Greg shares a time from his law enforcement days.  He was chasing a suspect in the woods at night when his flashlight went out.  He quickly put his back up against a tree and tried to bang his flashlight to work again but it would not.  Just when you think it can’t get worse he hears over the radio that K9 dogs had arrived and that they were about to be released.  He is in the dark, in the woods, with a potentially armed suspect and soon dogs.  He decided to run in the dark through the woods back to his police cruiser.  Once they apprehended the suspect Greg asks the suspect where was he when his flashlight went out.  The suspect said on the opposite side of the tree.
Don’t look for the Righteous in the city: it’s you – Christ in you
Greg, John, and Pat share how many people think about Sodom and Gomorrah.  In fact, there were a lot of sins going on  in the city.  Some believers still take on the view that Abraham had when he asked God to spare Sodom and Gomorrah if there were righteous people in the city.  Believers are doing that today not realizing we are not with Abraham.  We are with Jesus in fact Jesus is in us, those who have accepted him as Lord.  Believers no longer need to look into the city for righteous ones because we are the righteous ones.  It’s time to believe what the word says, “…Christ in you, the hope of glory” Colossians 1:27.
Dead Faith vs. Living Faith: Which one do you have?
John, Greg, and Pat discuss the difference between Dead Faith and Living Faith.  In Mark 1:1-5 speaks about an account where a man who was lying on mat who was lowered through the roof of a house where Jesus was ministering.  The Bible says that when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic Son, your sins are forgiven.  Jesus saw their faith.  They had living faith; Faith that was combined with action and deed.  James 2:17 says, faith by itself, if not accompanied by action, is dead.  Many believers today are not seeing the breakthrough in their lives because they have dead faith.  What we do proves what we believe, if we say we have faith but there are no actions or deeds working together with our faith than nothing will come to pass. Faith and deeds working together is faith that cannot be denied.
Warning against Rejecting God’s Wisdom
In this wisdom moment, found in Proverbs 1:20-33 Greg shares about the warnings against rejecting the wisdom of God.  Since the garden of Eden God has wanted to have a relationship with His creation; you.  We need to get in right position with God.  God disciplines those He loves.  He does not hate on us, He loves us and has amazing plans for us.  If we listen to God and receive his wisdom we will live in safety and He will make Himself known to us.
