The day that Saul was made King, he was hiding behind luggage. A day later, people were drawn to him. Was it the man or the power? This is a dangerous thing because it is our sin nature that is drawn to this. “Then I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. They are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty.”
False religion is going to crank up in the world. It is important that we are not alone. It is vital that we have others in our lives that can speak truth to us, those that can see our character, and give direction when needed. This is not a sign of weakness; it is actually a sign of strength. This life is not simply about doing, but about doing the will of God. In this we are demonstrating to the world that we love God. Be encouraged as you get an understanding in these challenging times, how to love, how not to be deceived, and so much more.
