School Choice for Every Student; Not Just the Wealthy, Connected, and Elected-Sec. of Education, Betsy DeVos
We have prayed continually for God’s will to be done in the Earth, in America, and within our government; and for God to do something within our education. For so long, the education within America has been used for propaganda, not for history, science, or math, and not for the benefit of our children. Of all the people that President Trump would appoint to head the Department of Education, he has appointed Betsy DeVos. Her husband is the founder of Amway, and her father is the founder of the light visors that many of us have in our own cars. Now, she is using her own personal resources to benefit the children of America. The DeVos family understands that they have been blessed to be a blessing. Their lives are proof positive that God doesn’t mind getting things to us as long as He can get things through us.
Secretary of Education DeVos was recently interviewed at the CPAC 2018 Conference and she was asked what she was doing to make sure that all children in our nation had the freedom of school choice, not just the wealthy, and connected. At the onset, Secretary DeVos shares what is happening in the K-12 grades. “In K-12 world, that includes the implementation of the ‘Every Student Succeeds Act’.” Secretary DeVos emphasizes how this Act will provide more resources to the states regarding options for students. The Secretary has encouraged states to access these resources.
Secretary DeVos is also concerned about the many military families that we have across the nation with school-aged children. “Their decisions about where they go, or where they don’t go, or whether they continue to serve, hinge very heavily on the opportunities they have for their children’s education.”
This is so important to recognize. School Choice is not just for the elected few, but for every child, regardless of their region or city. We want your children to have the choices needed for the best education. How does this encourage you? What are your thoughts on school choice? Education Disparities No MORE; Every Student Succeeds-Sec. of Education Betsy DeVos
When Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos, was recently interviewed at the 2018 Conservative Political Action Conference, she was asked about what new developments are taking place in our education department under the Trump Administration. In our present system, there is a large chasm between what resources are offered to some while limited resources are provided for others. Secretary DeVos was asked about these “Education Disparities”, and how we got to this reality.
In response, Secretary DeVos pointed out how policies have provided resources for pre-school and higher education, but when it comes to K thru 12, there is nothing. “I believe there is a very strong argument to be made that all families should have the same kind of power, and the same kind of choices, and the same kind of opportunities that I had for my children…” Secretary DeVos continues to emphasize, “but make sure that your child’s quality of education is not going to be based on where you’re living, or your family income.”
This is so important to understand. We have shared in a previous program, how the NEA was not for students having a lottery system for school choice. People were protesting the very option of students having the ability to choose. It is deeply exciting and encouraging to know that our President has appointed someone whose ultimate goal is the betterment of our children. School Vouchers & School Choice! NO MORE One Size Does Not Fit All-Sec. of Education, Betsy DeVos
These are exciting days that are happening within the Department of Education. When Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos, was recently interviewed at the 2018 Conservative Political Action Conference, she was asked about what new developments are taking place in our education department under the Trump Administration.
Presently, if we hear someone say that policies cannot be implemented for 4 years, if someone has children in high school, that means that by the time their child graduates school, they will have received none of the benefits from these policies. They are simply missing out. We need to embrace education freedom in our nation.
Secretary DeVos was asked about the specific meaning of what “vouchers” entail when applied to education. When discussing vouchers, Secretary DeVos shares an exhaustive list of what can fall under the category of mechanisms for education. But, she underscores the need for ‘education freedom’. Secretary DeVos further explains, “that allows us to think more broadly about what education should be.” As any parent or teacher understands, all children learn differently. “We need to look at a system, that for too long, has forced kids into more a ‘one-size fits all’ approach, and create environments where new creative approaches are able to come in and be tried…”
Every child and student deserve a choice of where they want to receive their education in order to choose their own destiny. How does this encourage you as a parent, or a student? FREE SPEECH IN SCHOOLS & COLLEGES IS BACK! Sec. of Education Betsy DeVos
These are exciting days that are happening within the Department of Education. When Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos, was recently interviewed at the 2018 Conservative Political Action Conference, she was asked about what new developments are taking place in our education department under the Trump Administration. In today’s culture, the atmosphere on many of our schools and college campuses can be quite harmful for those who desire to share their beliefs. Secretary DeVos was pointedly asked about this important matter of freedom of expression within our schools, “particularly conservatives having their freedom of expression curtailed”.
As Secretary DeVos shares, she agrees with the urgency to resolve this matter. “We have seen more and more examples on college campuses, in recent years of shutting down free, and open expression, and debate around ideas.” For those who have not attended college, hoping to experience an atmosphere that encourages freedom of thought, may be surprised at what they experience if they do experience college as a student.
As Secretary DeVos explains, college education today is much different from when she experienced the college experience. “It is and should be a place where we explore other opinions and ideas. And yet, today, it has become more and more a place…where that possibility is more and more controlled.” Secretary DeVos further points out how the First Amendment being upheld on our college campuses is vital.
Can you imagine having the First Amendment carried out freely once again? It is coming back once again! What are your thoughts on Secretary DeVos’s leadership in our schools? We want to hear from you. See the full interview with Secretary DeVos, and so much more. WE ARE WINNING IN EDUCATION-Sec. of Education Betsy DeVos
When Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos, was recently interviewed at the 2018 Conservative Political Action Conference, she was asked about what new developments are taking place in our education department under the Trump Administration. Secretary DeVos was asked if we are winning in education, and she shared an inspiring reality regarding our children in America, and what they mean to our nation.
When Secretary DeVos was asked if we are winning in our nation’s education, she pointedly responded with these encouraging words; “Absolutely we’re winning. Absolutely!” Secretary DeVos describes how our current education system, which “is more like a factory or an industrial approach” is not meeting the present needs of our children. Secretary DeVos understands what first needs to happen. “It’s time now to ask the questions that we have not been really wanting to ask for too many years”.
By asking these questions and making the needed changes to meet the needs of our children, we would see an education system that would achieve unprecedented heights. As Secretary DeVos explains, “The children and the students that are served through education represent 100% of our future…”
It is so beautiful to recognize how things are changing and shifting in our nation. These are exciting days. What are your thoughts on how Secretary DeVos is leading our children and students?
