“In Essentials Unity, In Non-Essentials Liberty, In All Things Charity” Part 2

We continue the discussion about the Seven Mountains of Culture and how as Christians we are to have a Kingdom impact in each Mountain! We want to empower believers to move within the Mountain you are called to. For example, you have the Green family, who owns Hobby Lobby, they stood for the Kingdom of God and brought God’s Kingdom to the Business Mountain! Now they have funded the opening of the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. and now through the museum they are influencing the Religion Mountain. Know this, we are not limited to influencing one Mountain of Culture.

How can we be unified without compromising our beliefs? The Moravian Church of North America said, “In essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty, in all things charity.” We need to identify the non-essentials so that we can truly know what the essentials are and unify around that and through it all move in the love of God. God wants His Church to come together in unity and Jesus is Whom we all have in common. Jesus should be our focus as the Church comes together and not focus on the non-essentials. We can come together as the Church in unity without compromising who God is to us. We need to begin to give each other the freedom to follow God while staying loyal to the essentials.

Today, get a vision for discipling a nation, for praying for God’s Kingdom to come to all the Mountains of Culture: Religion, Family, Business, Education, Government, Arts and Entertainment, and Media Mountain. We want to hear from you! Also shared in this segment: E Pluribus Unum, Doctrine, Wealth, Ethiopia, Orphanage, Rick Joyner, Final Quest, Vision, Dream. Greg, Pat, and John shared in this segment.

Bernice King, Daughter of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. says she is Profoundly Responsible for Carrying Father’s Legacy to the next Phase as Should We

Bernice King, Martin Luther King Jr’s daughter shares with us today, as she led a delegation from the King Center in response to the actions that took place in Ferguson, Missouri. She speaks of non-violence and love as the response to those actions. “Non-violence is a way of life in courageous people. Non-violence seeks to win friendship and understanding. Non-violence seeks to defeat injustice and not people. Non-violence chooses love instead of hate.” Bernice calls this movement “Non-violence 365” and she shares about the time that was known as the “Civil Rights Movement.” “The movement that was led by my father was a spiritual movement. It wasn’t a Civil Rights Movement. It impacted Civil Rights. But, it was a spiritual movement and its assignment was to Civil Rights.” As Bernice grew up her mother told her she was a lot like her Father. She carries on her parents work as CEO of The King Center, which her mother, Coretta Scott King founded. “You want to preserve the possibility of reconnecting the brokenness in communities, that’s Christ and He has given to us the ministry of reconciliation and that really is what this Non-Violence 365 is all about.”

When truth is spoken it is so encouraging! Bernice King is sharing so much truth through her ministry. Jesus had a non-violence movement. He entrusted Himself to His Father who judges justly and did not react in violence. We want to hear from you and what you think about non-violence. What determines the makeup of a society? You must recognize the culture of the world and bring the Kingdom culture to where you are! God’s Kingdom is powerful. Matthew 24:14 “And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.” We are called to impact every part of our culture, which there are seven mountains in our culture. The first part of culture is the Religion Mountain; it is important how religion unfolds in America. America was birthed with the need for freedom of religion. The Constitution has this written out already and we need to go back to the original intent of America and allow people to worship God freely. The government should make no laws concerning the restriction of worshiping God! Another part of culture is the Family Mountain, whoever is at this top of the mountain is influencing what happens in it. God says family should be a certain way, but other people are trying to change this part of culture. What has God called Christians to do? To be transformed by the renewing of our minds, which we read in Romans 12:2,  Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

The next part of culture is the Education Mountain. As the Church have we given education over to a government system? What are we doing about this? We can decide to do what is right and stand up for our beliefs! We need to educate our children starting in our homes teaching them what is right, including teaching them the Word of God and the true history of America! When we are praying God’s Kingdom to come to these mountains we are calling forth Jesus that is already in believers to come forth and this will begin to change the mountains of culture.

Next, we have the Government Mountain; we see many people fighting to get to the top of this mountain. In America, we have Republicans, Democrats, and Independents with each group fighting to lead the mountain. God can use one person and even multiple people who are believers to stand for the Kingdom of God and influence the mountain of culture to change it for God’s Kingdom! If you read the Bible, you see many people who stood for God and because of their stand entire cultures were shifted to worship God versus the false gods they were worshiping. You need to have the Kingdom of God in you to be able to influence the culture! As a nation, we can’t be divided in our Government because our nation will fall. Matthew 12:25 “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.”  Another part of culture is the Media Mountain and Arts and Entertainment Mountain; there are so many different forms in these mountains with only small amounts of the light of Christ shining through. Whoever is over these mountains determines what comes out of these mountains and we need to pray for more of God’s Kingdom to come! The last part of culture is the Business Mountain, God wants to bless your business and He is interested in you and your business! Do you realize that God wants His Kingdom to come to your business? When we pray, we are to pray for God’s Kingdom to come! We need to pray for His Kingdom to come to each mountain of culture! Matthew 6:9-13 “This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.” We want to hear from you and what you think about these mountains of culture! Also shared in this segment: Rules for Radicles, Communism, Vote, Rights, David Barton, Early Voting, Doctrines, Central America, Jail, Jungle. Greg, Pat, and John shared in this segment.

People that Believe are doing what they Believe

We have good news! God is still on His throne and He is looking for believers that understand He is in control. The one thing that moves God is faith! Do we believe? Galatians 3:5 “I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ.”  We are called Believers because we believe, and you can interchange the word faith and believe in the Bible. Hebrews 11:1 “Faith is being sure of what we hope for. It is being sure of what we do not see.”  If we are Believers, it is time for us is to move in more surety and certainty. The enemy can attack a Believer by attacking your beliefs. Remember that because Jesus died on the cross we have already survived in Jesus. We are ambassadors of Heaven and we are on this earth to represent the Kingdom of God. We need to hang around people who build our confidence and we need to abide with the Lord which builds our faith. The people you know who true Believers are by the fruit of their lives. Matthew 7:16a “You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act.” We want to hear from you and what you think about this.
