The Revelation Unfolds
This morning, in the Lord’s presence, His voice broke through—clear and resonant—unveiling the “Children of the Day.” The phrase pulsed with meaning, echoing Isaiah 60: “Arise, shine, for your light has come.”
A Divine Encounter
God took me in a prophetic dream to the market place where I stood among vibrant young people—teens and twenties—sharing Christ’s love. Some rejected it, their hearts hardened, but two responded with infectious joy, exclaiming, “Yes, it’s great!” Their excitement felt like a decision for Jesus, a step into the light.
A Shocking Twist
Their zeal didn’t fade. They grabbed my hand, saying, “Gotta show you this!” and led me to a dark room draped in black, heavy with gloom. At its center stood a shrine to Lucifer, marked by a pentagram. These same young men, moments ago thrilled for Jesus, now radiated equal fervor for Satan.
“…For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14
Dual Allegiance Exposed
Their initial joy had seemed genuine—a surrender to Christ. Yet here they lay facedown, pressing their bodies to the floor in front of Lucifer’s altar with ecstatic devotion, convinced they could serve both light and darkness. A shadowy blanket with a pentagram loomed over them, sealing their deception. The contradiction stunned me.
Confronting the Lie
“This is not right!” I declared. Instantly, a child-sized demon charged from the altar directly at me, enraged. I bound it in Jesus’ name, proclaiming authority over darkness (Ephesians 6:12). I turned to the young men: “You can’t be children of the night and the day—you must choose.” Their excitement for Jesus was real, but Satan’s lie had snared them into believing they could worship two masters.
“You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.” James 4:4
Deception’s Mask
They didn’t see the lie as they bowed to Satan. When I challenged it, the demon attacked, but I stood firm, wielding the gospel’s power. Jesus warned expelled demons will return if there is an empty house (heart) (Matthew 12:43–45); I loved these men, not their deception, knowing the enemy—not they—crafted this trap.

The Gospel’s Clarity
I shared the truth: one God, one way—Jesus (John 14:6). Their bow to Lucifer nullified their claim to Christ. Scripture anchors this in 1 Thessalonians 5:5: “You are children of the light and the day, not of the night or darkness.” God’s light burns within us, but the enemy deceives us into straddling both realms. God tolerates no rivals (Exodus 20:3–5).
Paul’s Charge, Our Call
Paul’s mission in Acts 26:17–19—to turn people “from darkness to light, from Satan to God”—mirrored this vision. They’d embraced the light joyfully, then pivoted to darkness. God calls us to lead them back, to live as children of the day.
If We Don’t Tell Them, Who Will?
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:13-15
