Five Things We Will Learn
- How faith empowers believers to overcome sickness, demonic attacks, and impossible odds.
- Why Jesus’ healing ministry in Matthew 8 reveals His desire and power to heal every type of disease—even today.
- How faith unlocks God’s provision and surplus, overturning poverty and financial limitation.
- What resurrection power looks like in everyday life, from ICU survival to family salvation.
- How bold, unwavering faith can not only transform households—but turn entire nations back to God.
Testimony of Healing
I received a text message from someone I met just a few months ago. His wife was struggling to keep her food down, so they went in for tests and discovered a blockage. When they went to remove it, they found cancer that had spread to her bones and organs. The doctors didn’t do anything; they just sewed her back up and said, “Go home and enjoy your last few days.” He texted me about it and asked, “Would you pray?” I think he meant from a distance, but if I were in trouble, I wouldn’t want someone sending me praying hand emojis—I’d want real prayer. So, I flew over to see her in the hospital after preaching in one of the states where we have a church. I prayed, spoke the Word for a while, and then went home. About three days ago, he texted me again, saying her new doctor found no signs of cancer, she’s holding her food down, and she’s regaining her strength!
Call to Faith and Miracles
I walked over from the hotel today instead of driving, and I saw people being wheeled into this place, believing for a miracle. As I look around, I know this venue is filled with some of the strongest pastors, evangelists, and believers in the United States of America. I believe the wind of God is getting behind every ministry tonight, every person, and whatever the devil meant for harm, God is going to turn it around for good in Jesus’ name.
Opening Prayer
Father, I thank You for this great opportunity to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to see Your power move. We give You glory and thanks for watching the devil get his legs kicked out from under him in the United States this year. Thank You for drying up the money of every wicked organization within six months. Thank You that the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just. I pray this hour will be the greatest any of us have ever known. For every person who came here sick, I thank You for the power of the Holy Ghost knocking that sickness out of their bodies in Jesus’ name. For everyone with damaged organs, joints, or bones, thank You for recreating their bodies as Your Word goes forth in Jesus’ name. Thank You that Islam will never set up shop in Texas, but the church of the Lord Jesus Christ will grow and grow. Thank You for an hour when people are saved by the tens of thousands in Jesus’ name. For all these things, we give You thanks. All God’s people said, “Amen.”
Scripture Reading: Luke 6:17
Turn to Luke 6:17. This is one of my favorite passages in the Bible:
When they came down from the mountainside, the disciples stood with Jesus on a large, level area, surrounded by many of His followers and by the crowds. There were people from all over Judea, Jerusalem, and as far north as the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon. They had come to hear Him and to be healed of their diseases.
Everybody say, “To hear and be healed.” God’s Word carries God’s power. In another passage, the Bible says Jesus taught unlike the teachers of religious law. Luke, being a doctor, could tell that some kind of power went out when Jesus spoke, healing people of their diseases. The passage continues:
And those troubled or tormented by evil spirits were healed. Everyone tried to touch Him because healing power went out from Him, and He healed everyone.
How many did He heal? Everyone. Has Jesus changed? No. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Scripture Reading: Mark 11:22-24
Let’s read one more scripture, Mark 11:22-24:
Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. For I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will obey your command. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. I tell you the truth, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you have received it, it will be yours.”
Say the title of this message with me: “What Faith Can Do.”
The Power of Faith
The Bible teaches that faith separates a group like this—faith ministries—from most religious teaching. Many Christian teachings portray faith as a life raft you cling to while life’s storms beat you down, giving you just enough strength to survive until next Sunday. Others teach faith as a salve God puts on you to accept whatever happens in life—sickness, disease, or a child on drugs—trusting God through the hard times, accepting both the good and the bad. But that teaching contradicts several scriptures. Jesus taught faith as something that can look at an immovable mountain and command it to move, and it must obey. The book of James instructs believers to resist the devil. Say, “Resist the devil, and he will flee.” If we’re supposed to accept everything that comes into our lives, why does the Bible tell us to speak to mountains and resist the devil?
If I were the devil—and I’m not—I’d try to lull believers to sleep with weak teachings that make them accept what Jesus shed His blood to defeat. You’re about to gain even more faith from the Word. You’re going to leave this convention and give the devil the worst six months he’s ever had.
Point 1: Faith Conquers Any Opponent
Let’s look at what faith can do. Number one, 1 John 5:4 says:
This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.
Say, “Overcomes the world.” Faith is the victory. Growing up in a Pentecostal holiness denomination, I was taught faith was like a salve—you’d hear people say, “I’m living by faith,” meaning they had nothing. But this scripture says faith brings victory, drawing on God’s power. When Jesus spoke, people came to hear Him and be healed, and many pressed in to touch Him, feeling power flow from Him. Hallelujah! When you tap into faith, you access a power the devil can’t counter. He has no strategy against someone who stays in faith.
For everyone here today whom the devil has attacked—that’s why I shared that story at the beginning. I’m not oblivious to the hard things people have been through. But there comes a time when you can stand up and tell the devil, “Enough is enough.” That’s why God brought you to this meeting. The devil’s reign of terror in your family ends today, and the lordship of Jesus Christ becomes evident in your household. Because this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. If you believe it, clap your hands and shout unto God with the voice of triumph! The devil is defeated, and Jesus Christ is Lord!
Number one: Faith conquers any opponent. Faith defeats any enemy. I wasn’t going to tell that man’s wife, “Lord, be with them through this hard time.” Faith equips you with power. I love reading about the Apostle Paul in Acts 27. He was a prisoner on a ship with over 200 people, yet within a few verses, he became the ship’s captain, telling everyone to sit down and eat. Why? He said, “The Lord sent His angel to tell me everyone on this ship will be saved, though the ship itself won’t.” When you study the gift of faith, there’s always angelic activity attached. This isn’t a generational curse group; it’s a generational blessing group. Are demons real? Sure. But I don’t have demons assigned to me—I have angels of the Lord assigned to me wherever I go. Whatever’s come against you wasn’t strong enough to keep you out of this meeting. God brought you here to put your boot on the devil’s head and knock him out in Jesus’ name. Say it out loud: “This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.”
That story Sister Courtney shared about Brother Copeland listening to me in the hospital put something in his spirit. The Word of God shouldn’t make you feel worse—it should lift you up. A pastor once asked me, “Are you one of those faith preachers?” I didn’t even know about the Word of Faith movement back then, but it sounded insane to be asked that. Faith is good! I told him, “Well, I’m not an unbelief preacher.” Why did being a faith person ever become an insult? Faith is the victory that overcomes the world. When you get full of faith, overcoming words and actions flow from you effortlessly. Whatever the devil has stood against you in, you’re going to knock him out today in Jesus’ name.
Point 2: Faith Engenders Power Over the Devil
Number two: Faith engenders power over the devil without trying. 1 John 5:18 says:
He that is begotten of God keeps himself, and the evil one touches him not.
Say it: “The evil one touches him not.” Not only can the devil not successfully attack you, he can’t even reach you. Jesus said in Mark 16:17, “These signs will follow those who believe: In My name, they will cast out devils.” The devil is no match for the believer. Even if you feel like the least significant believer, the devil is still under your feet. No born-again believer is subject to the devil’s touch. If someone tries to sell you a $399, 40-day deliverance course to free you from spirits after salvation, don’t fall for it. When you got saved, you became a new creature—old things passed away, and all things became new. You’re a child of the Most High God, with victory through faith. Say it again: “The evil one touches him not.”
If my life is hidden with Christ in God, who would Satan have to get through to reach me? Good luck with that. The Bible says we’re seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above all principalities and powers. In Revelation, Satan tried to make war in heaven but prevailed not. You’re seated where Satan has no ability to win. You don’t need to pray against him—he’s already defeated. Joy is coming back to you today. Whatever the devil tried to make you worry about, God will fill you with joy in the Holy Ghost, and you’ll laugh in the devil’s face. If you receive that, clap your hands and let the devil know he’s defeated.
Point 3: Faith Conquers Sickness and Disease
Number three: Faith engenders power over all sickness and disease. Turn to Matthew chapter 8. This chapter features my favorite faith preacher, Jesus. Starting at verse 1:
Large crowds followed Jesus as He came down the mountainside. Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached Him and knelt before Him. “Lord,” the man said, “if You’re willing, You can heal me and make me clean.” Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” He said. “Be healed!” And instantly, the leprosy disappeared.
Say, “He’s willing.” Acts 10:34-35 tells us God is no respecter of persons—what He does for one, He’ll do for anyone. When Jesus told the leper, “I am willing,” He was speaking to every sick person. You don’t have to wonder if God wants to heal you, just as you don’t wonder if He wants to save sinners. Jesus continued:
Then Jesus said to him, “Don’t tell anyone about this. Instead, go to the priest and let him examine you. Take along the offering required in the law of Moses for those who have been healed of leprosy. This will be a public testimony that you have been cleansed.”
Verse 5:
When Jesus returned to Capernaum, a Roman officer came and pleaded with Him, “Lord, my young servant lies in bed, paralyzed and in terrible pain.” Jesus said, “I’ll come and heal him.” But the officer said, “Lord, I’m not worthy to have You come into my home. Just say the word from where You are, and I know my servant will be healed.”
Jesus was amazed at his faith, saying, “I haven’t seen faith like this in all of Israel.” Then He told the officer, “Go back home. Because you believed, it has happened.” The servant was healed that same hour. Verse 14:
When Jesus arrived at Peter’s house, Peter’s mother-in-law was sick in bed with a high fever. But when Jesus touched her hand, the fever left her. Then she got up and prepared a meal for Him. That evening, many demon-possessed people were brought to Jesus. He cast out the evil spirits with a simple command and healed all the sick. This fulfilled the word of the Lord through the prophet Isaiah, who said, “He took our sicknesses and removed our diseases.”
Say it out loud: “He took all my sickness and removed all my disease.”
The Four Categories of Sickness
In these 17 verses, Jesus healed all four categories of sickness and disease. During the COVID lockdowns, I met a Harvard-trained doctor who was a Christian. I shared this passage with her to ensure I wasn’t mistaken, as our family preaches healing and prays for the sick. We call Matthew 8 the healing chapter of the New Testament because Jesus addresses all four categories of sickness:
- Diseases of the flesh (leprosy, bone disease, cartilage issues, organ decay).
- Central nervous system disorders (paralysis, Alzheimer’s, dementia, brain bleeds).
- Blood diseases (fevers, HIV, hepatitis, sickle cell anemia, leukemia).
- Sicknesses caused by evil spirits (afflictions not visible on medical scans, unexplainable conditions).
Jesus took dominion over all four categories. One out of every three people He healed required dealing with an evil spirit. He didn’t ignore their operation but addressed them directly. Every sickness or disease you’re battling falls under one of these umbrellas. Unlike other religious leaders, Jesus carried power to destroy the devil’s work. I declare today, every work of the devil parading in your life gets knocked out in Jesus’ mighty name. From the top of your head to the soles of your feet, be healed in Jesus’ name. If you receive it, shout, “Yes!”
Point 4: Faith Opens Financial Surplus
Number four: Faith opens access to God’s financial surplus and overflow. 2 Chronicles 20:20 says:
“Believe in the Lord your God, so shall you be established; believe in His prophets, so shall you prosper.”
When Israel’s enemies attacked, God gave them victory and a great reward. It took four days to gather the spoil, turning the valley of death into the valley of blessing. I see a great reward coming to the body of Christ in the second half of 2025. The wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just. Money from groups like Planned Parenthood is drying up, and that wealth is transferring to pastors, evangelists, missionaries, and godly business owners. You won’t grovel in poverty—you’ll do more this year than ever before by the Spirit of Almighty God.
Don’t let fear of what others think stop you from operating in God’s financial surplus. If Elon Musk can believe for a house on Mars, you can believe for a house in Texas. If the wicked aren’t ashamed to prosper, why should believers be ashamed to claim the wealth God promised? You are the seed of Abraham, and everything God promised him belongs to you. Get ready for the best six months you’ve ever had. If you receive it, give God praise ahead of time! Clap your hands and shout unto God with the voice of triumph. The devil is defeated, and Jesus Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
Point 5: Faith Brings Resurrection Life
Number five: Faith hooks you up with resurrection life. John 11:25 says:
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. They that believe in Me, though they were dead, yet shall they live.”
Jesus didn’t just say, “Heal the sick”; He said, “Raise the dead.” The spirit of death must bow to the blood of Jesus and the power of the Holy Ghost. My father faced a sudden attack last December. My mom called, saying he was in the ICU with a 5% chance of surviving surgery and a 5% chance of living 30 days afterward. Those are bad odds—like the Pittsburgh Pirates winning the World Series again. I’m from Pittsburgh, so I can say that safely here in Texas. The devil loves turning joyful times like Christmas into tragedy, but I feel in my spirit that some of you have experienced loss around that season. Today, God is restoring your joy, replacing the garment of heaviness with the oil of joy.
I visited my dad after his surgery. He’d fallen, causing an internal rupture, and was down to 175 pounds from 225, on life support, looking like he might die. The doctors said if he survived, he’d need 24-hour care for at least a year. But my dad, weak as he was, removed his oxygen mask and told the doctor, “Christians heal faster.” They sent him home in six weeks, not six months. He was preaching again by Easter here in Fort Worth and has been ever since. The devil may write the first chapter, but you and Jesus will write the last, and it will be glorious. Faith takes back what the devil stole. It’s time for the devil to cough up everything he’s taken in Jesus’ mighty name. If you believe it, say, “Amen!”
Say with me: “Christ lives in me, the hope of glory.” When you live and speak God’s Word, life flows through you, not just to keep you alive but to overflow into others. The last six months of 2025 will see an explosion of signs and wonders.
Point 6: Faith Brings Household Salvation
Number six: Faith brings household salvation. Hebrews 11:7 says:
By faith, Noah, being warned by God of things not yet seen, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house, by which he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
Like Noah, or the jailer in Acts whose household was saved, your faith can bring salvation to your family. Every son on heroin, every daughter you don’t know where she is—God’s power will gather your family. The devil has no right to take them. Your family is coming home today in Jesus’ mighty name. If you believe it, give God a mighty shout!
Don’t make foolish confessions like the world: “My daughter will go wild when she gets a boyfriend.” No! Your child will live holy and serve the Lord. You’re not like everyone else. If you believe it, shout, “Amen!”
Point 7: Faith Turns a Nation Around
Number seven: Faith turns a nation around. A nation is just a collection of families. When enough people rise up like Joshua, saying, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord,” revival begins. Genesis 18:19 says God chose Abraham because he would command his family to keep the way of the Lord. My grandfather, a former criminal who drove moonshine trucks at age 10, got saved at 18 and promised God, “If You keep my four sons from the world, I’ll serve You.” All four became preachers, as did their children and grandchildren. It takes one person to say, “This curse ends with me.” God will flow through your household, then your nation.
Revival isn’t coming—it’s here. Over 33 Planned Parenthoods have closed this year, including six in California and three in Ohio last week. The devil’s funding is drying up because this is the hour of the church of Jesus Christ. God is anointing us with the Holy Ghost and fire to do great things. Jesus is coming back for a glorious church, without spot or wrinkle, with dominion over the devil. There’s enough firepower in this room to blow the devil’s sorry rear end into the Gulf of Mexico. Get ready for the greatest revival we’ve ever known. Lift your hands and thank God for two minutes. Pray in the Holy Ghost, building up your faith. Thank Him for destroying the devil’s work in every body, family, and church. Thank Him for strong churches, evangelistic campaigns, and the greatest generation of women preachers the world has ever seen. In Jesus’ name, we’ve prayed. Everybody say, “Amen.”
Call to Salvation
It’s time to make a decision. Jesus wrote to seven churches in Revelation, and five got an F, one a C, and one an A. Don’t be lulled to sleep in this final hour. In Matthew 24, Jesus spoke of ten virgins with lamps full of oil, but five let their fire go out. Say it loud: “The fire must never go out.”
If you’ve let your fire dim or dragged your feet on God’s call, lift both hands as a sign to God: “I’m done living half in and half out. I want a lamp full of oil, burning bright.”
Prayer of Commitment
Say this prayer out loud:
Heavenly Father, I come into covenant with You. I turn my back on sin and repent. I believe in my heart You raised Jesus from the dead. I confess with my mouth Jesus Christ is Lord and my Savior. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. Fill me with the Holy Ghost. Make my fire burn bright until Your coming. Give me a passion to serve You with undying love. I refuse to let my fire go out. I will serve the Lord and live holy in Jesus’ name.
Be blessed in Jesus’ name. I loose strength from the Holy Ghost where you were weak.
Prayer for Healing
Now, lift your right hand to the Lord and place your left hand on any affliction in your body—cancer, pacemakers failing, or multiple issues (place your hand on your head for an overhaul). The price for your healing was paid 2,000 years ago. I loose the healing power of Jesus’ blood. Every cancer cell, I curse you to dry up and die in Jesus’ name. New discs, kidneys, and pancreases—be restored in Jesus’ name. From the top of your head to the soles of your feet, be healed. Say, “I receive it.” Move what you couldn’t move, see what you couldn’t see. I command cataracts and glaucoma to leave eyes now.
I feel faith and victory in this room. The devil’s about to get a tail-kicking like never before in Texas. Rejoice, for the Lord has given you the victory! Give Him a great handclap and shout. In Jesus’ name, everybody say, “Amen.”
