Getting Back to Power in the Church: The Promise of the Holy Spirit

Greg, John, and Pat discuss the importance of getting back to power in the church through the promise of the Holy Spirit. They continue to discuss the amazing life and ministry of Jesus and some of the things Jesus was able to accomplish in such a short amount of time yet when it was time for Jesus to leave and be with the Father he gave the disciples specific instructions. Jesus was going back to the Father and they would be without Him and the power that flowed through His life and ministry. Yet He did not leave them without a power source. The same power that flowed through Jesus’s life and ministry was available to them when the Holy Spirit would come upon them 50 days after Jesus’ ascension at Pentecost. Much of the church is functioning today without power yet the power of God is freely available to them. The Azusa street revival in 1906 was a move of God that came with power sustained by the power of the Holy Spirit. They did not have the technology that we have today like text message, cell phones, and social media but they did have the Holy Spirit and that’s all they needed as this move of God spread all around the world. They encourage us to do whatever we have to do to come together in Christ center unity. They further encourage us to go back and look at what took place during the transition in Jesus ministry; when he left earth and was reunited with the Father. The church must return to and be a channel of the love and power of God.

Martial Law coming with crisis, good or bad? Depends Rick Joyner says

Greg, John, and Pat discuss the possibilities of martial law being declared in the United States once the “god” of money goes down. Jesus clearly tells us “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” Matthew 6:24 Today in the land there is no fear of the Lord and many are doing as they please. Rick Joyner, founder of Morning Star Ministries has said that “in the 50’s even those who didn’t know God still feared God, but today there are those who claim to know God and they don’t fear Him.” The possibility of martial law coming to the United States is something to take very seriously especially when one sees police departments buying armored cars and Homeland Security reportedly buying1.6 billions of rounds of ammunition when we are on the precipice of a financial crash. When your god goes down people panic and anyone can see that America’s god is money. You can know who your God is when it’s removed from your life. If you lost your job are you now stressing as if God wasn’t the one who gave you the job to begin with. Rick Joyner has said that he too feels that martial law is eminent based upon what the Lord has shown Him. He continues to say that “the big deal about martial law is who is the marshal? There are times in our nation’s history when martial law has been a good thing. According to Wikipedia “martial law is the imposition of military power over designated regions on an emergency basis.” There is going to be an uprising because of the economy and its going to take a very decisive leader with integrity to deal with things. They continue to warn how there are many in America and around the world who desire tyranny; they see a one world economy. Rick Joyner shares that the mark of the beast is an economical mark. It’s important to remember that martial law is not evil in itself however the motives matter of the one who declares it.
