LISTEN NOW! In this wisdom moment found in Proverbs 17:9, it is shared that in regard to this scripture there are two kinds of people. Those who cover offenses and therefore promote Love and those who repeat a matter and therefore separate close friends. One involves humility, total dependency on God and respect for other people, and the other one is rooted in pride. Believers are reminded in 1 Peter 4:8 that above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins. Jesus said, in Matthew 22:36-39 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”
