LISTEN NOW! Franklin and his daughter Cissie continue the breath-taking journey through the Holy Land of Israel as they recount and remember the footsteps of Jesus. The Jericho Road was a large intersection during the times of the Bible connecting areas such as Moab, Jericho, and Galilee. It was this very road that Jesus talks about during an exchange with an expert of the law.

When this expert of the law asked about eternal life, Jesus began to tell the story of the Good Samaritan after a brief exchange. It was on this road that a man was beaten and his clothes were stripped from him. Both a priest and a Levite saw the man, but passed him by. When a Samaritan man saw him, he then stopped to not only help the man, but provide him shelter. In Luke 10:36, Jesus asks the expert of the law, “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?” “The one who had mercy on him”, the man replied. Jesus told the man, “Go and do likewise.” It is powerful teachings such as this that we can apply to our everyday lives. See the sights of the Jericho Road for yourself, and so much more.
