LISTEN NOW! John, Greg, and Pat discuss a recent happening in the city of Miami when a police officer was about to arrest a woman who was stealing a lot of food to feed her children. As the officer heard more of the woman’s story and how hungry her and her kids were she decided not to arrest the woman and gave her $100 for groceries. That one act of compassion fueled others to give to the hungry woman and her children money that amounted to a total of $700 given to her for groceries. Just when you think it couldn’t get any better the owner of the grocery store gave the woman a job. They continue to discuss that it is okay to step outside of the “book” and allow your heart to be moved by compassion and help those who need help.
