As much as we have seen change and an increasing turn around in the White House compared to what was seen in the previous administration, more change is coming. As the President continually shares hopeful and uplifting messages to the American people, he takes this week’s address to focus on healthcare and the need to replace Obamacare. President Trump highlights a couple, the Cushman family, who suffered horrible charges at the hands of Obamacare.
“They thought they would be able to keep their plan but they weren’t allowed they were told their premiums would go down but instead they soared by 120% upward it was one Obamacare lie after another.” The total cost of their medical coverage is overwhelming. “Today, the Cushman spend $1400 a month on health insurance nearly one-fourth of their entire net monthly income.” This story is not unique, as other families the President met also experienced the same trials with Obamacare.

“I heard this Jewish carpenter declaring, “The day of trying to force square pegs into round holes is over. I’m carving out a new place for My so called ‘misfits’ to influence the government of this nation. Since My foolishness is wiser than man’s wisdom, many will wonder what I’m up to in Washington, D.C.
I’m digging up the foundation of a nation until it hits rock bottom. I will then hewn it out of My rock of ages. Many will witness My explosive power like dynamite, interrupting and shaking the hell out of this nation, releasing a tsunami effect worldwide with the fear of the Lord. The fuse has been lit. Stay focused on Me and don’t get addicted to the news of this world. Up until now they have blocked Me out, but the media will soon give way as I blow the hinges off of newsrooms.”

Collaboration Coming Together as President Trump Meets with Technology Industry Leaders to Modernize America’s Government
As we have declared numerous times, THIS IS A BREAKTHROUGH YEAR! So many sweeping changes are happening in Washington, it’s hard to keep up. Big things are happening. President Trump recently assembled a technology summit at the White House with technology leaders from across the nation to brainstorm and share ideas about how best to tackle the problems in our nation and how to make America more efficient.
The roundtable discussion of business leaders, CEO’s and academic leaders represents a “who’s who” in anything involving technology. The President elaborates on those who were in attendance in his own words. “We’re joined by an incredible group of leaders on the absolute cutting edge of innovation including many CEOs from the world’s most successful businesses. We have approximately $3.5 Trillion of market value in this room.” The President also highlighted what his aim is in having these leaders together in one place.
“Our goal is to lead a sweeping transformation of the federal government technology that will deliver dramatically better services for citizens, stronger protection from cyberattacks… and up to a trillion dollars in savings for taxpayers over the next ten years.” With these goals in mind, the President also describes some of the steps that have already been taken by his Administration. “My Administration’s already taken very historic steps to modernize critical IT systems and make government more transparent.” He then opens the floor so that all of those in attendance can briefly share about how their companies are effecting technology.
Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, talked about modernizing our government. With these modernizations, he points to ecology and the importance of the technology industry to work hand in hand with the government, “to skill the people of the United States for the jobs of the future technology will play a role both in creation of the jobs and the skills.” Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon, expressed that this Administration “could be the innovation Administration”.
Rafael Reif, President of MIT, shared that “my view is to stay where we are as the most innovative country in the world 30 years from now.” The Chancellor of UNC was also present. As she comments on the future of technology, she shared, “I think of all those kids that have such capacity and what we’re talking about is trying to take every resource we have to put to building that innovation capacity for the country.”
As the President commented earlier on the priority of cybersecurity, Ajay Banga, CEO of Mastercard, also touched on this as he brought up the Internet of Things. “I think in addition to what technology and the Internet of Things is going to do for all of us as an opportunity, side by side comes a tremendous responsibility on cybersecurity. I think working that the right way with the right public-private partnerships we’re also working it where the weakest link, which is small merchants and the individual consumer, get the right level of safety that they demand from us is really important.”
Eric Schmidt, former President of Google, now Executive Chairman of Alphabet Inc., expressed his optimism of what he sees taking place during the Trump Administration, because of technology. “I’m absolutely convinced that during your administration, is going to be a huge explosion in new opportunities because of the platforms that are getting built in our industry. Those will create huge, very large new business opportunities for which we entrepreneurs, technical talent immigration, and so forth that you understand. It can drive America very, very positively forward.”
Brian Krzanich, CEO of Intel, expressed his gratitude for the intercommunication between the private sector and the government during this time. “It was a great outreach I think between the private-public partnerships that we can really drive innovation much much faster and so I hope today is just the start of what we can accomplish together.”

As Naftali sat down with the Prime Minister he highlighted how hard it is to advocate for Israel and asked this question to the Prime Minister; “how can we help the state of Israel on Social Media.” Speaking frankly, the Prime Minister responded, “I think it’s easy to advocate for the state of Israel because all you have to do is advocate the truth.” He emphasized his point, “Just tell the truth!” The Prime Minister continued his response, “talk about our attackers!”
The Prime Minister continues to elaborate on the realities of Israel’s stance in the region. “Israel is the one beacon of liberalism, of pluralism, of freedom…just tell the truth!” As the Prime Minister understands, Israel has its own shortcomings, just as any other country does. “We’re not free of blemishes. We’re not perfect. Who is? But, compared to whom? Compared to our Palestinian attackers, who have no respect for human rights, for their own people, for the freedom of their own people!”
As the Prime Minister has said many times before, in other avenues, and before an array of audiences, he elaborates how progress can only materialize on the foundation of truth. “The only way we’re going to move peace forward is to move on truth. Defend the truth. Stand up for truth. When you stand up for the truth, you stand up for Israel.”
Hananya changes topics as he asks about how to respond to those who deny Israel’s connection to the land of Israel. As Prime Minister Netanyahu points out, Israel has been there for nearly 4,000 years. “I’d say that is a pretty big connection. We’re not colonials. We’re back in our ancestral homeland.”
It is so beautiful to see Hananya, a 23-year-old, IDF veteran, standing up for Israel and taking the time to advocate as boldly as he is for the country that he loves. It is so important that we are taking care of our nation and providing the care that is necessary to those that need it.
