When preparing the soil, the seed, and the harvest, the farmer has to know the seasons and times that he is living in. It is important to know whether it’s harvest season or not. There may not be open persecution in America where you are, while at the same time, the church in Iraq is running for their lives, fleeing their homes for safety seeking refuge from terrorism and persecution. America is a wealthy nation. The question is: what are we doing with our wealth? Having greater wealth simply means that God has greater expectations with the wealth that He has given us. Jesus shared a parable of different men and how they grew what God gave to them by investing it. One of them did nothing. How Jesus responded to him may surprise you.
