If it is, what for and how should Christians respond? Marshall Ganz, a fellow community organizer who said he worked for President Obama, who himself is a community organizer, seemingly uses the techniques written about in Saul Alinsky book, “Rules for Radicals” which he begins by giving a shout out to Lucifer for pulling off the first ‘successful community organizational efforts.
Alinsky seems to be used like a hand book for those who seek to do the same as Lucifer. He writes “a Marxist begins with his prime truth that all evils are caused by the exploitation of the proletariat by the capitalists. From this he logically proceeds to the revolution to end capitalism, then into the third stage of reorganization into a new social order or the dictatorship of the proletariat, and finally the last stage — the political paradise of communism.”
Alinsky says, “An organizer working in and for an open society is in an ideological dilemma. To begin with, he does not have a fixed truth — truth to him is relative and changing; everything to him is relative and changing. He is a political relativist. He accepts the late Justice Learned Hand’s statement that “the mark of a free man is that ever- gnawing inner uncertainty as to whether or not he is right.” “The consequence is that he is ever on the hunt for the causes of man’s plight and the general propositions that help to make some sense out of man’s irrational world.” Rules for Radicals.
In other words, he says that man is at the center of his life and that he is to go by his own gut feelings, verses God being at the center of men’s world and man has a choice to be led by his gut, or by God’s Spirit, under the leadership of Jesus Christ. Man does that give us a paradigm to help understand the seemingly all over the map, yet persistent actions being taken by America’s leadership. Listen to broadcast to hear it in its entirety.
