LISTEN NOW!Greg, Pat and Steve talk about the importance of being on the right side, God’s side, and most importantly, staying on the right side. Many can understand the visuals of football and the importance of specific jerseys for the individual teams. At any time, the quarterback, the one in control, needs to know who he can throw the ball to; he needs to know whose are his. “Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”- 2 Timothy 2:19. It is important that we live our lives in the awareness of God, for the acceptance of God, and not simply the acceptance of others. When we choose to live in such a way to be a friend of God, and not a friend of the world, there are those who are friends with the world who will not want to be friends with us anymore. Just simply proclaiming to be on God’s team and not leaving the team of the world does not work. If we want to turn to God, we must turn away from wickedness. Find out how you know the differences of these two realities, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: quarterbacks, fruit, good trees, bad trees, Nazareth, and repentance.
