Do not Worry, Be about the One Thing
John, Pat, and Chris share from Matthew 6:25-34. We are instructed in God’s word not to worry about our life. They continue to discuss how nothing changes for the good by worrying. In fact worry is a persistent mental uneasiness, agitation, anxiousness. Worry often leads to lack of sleep, peace and appetite. Jesus said look at the birds of the air, they do not sow, or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? We have extreme value to God. He cares for us deeply and encourages us instead of spending useless time worrying about a situation; seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. We are encouraged in God’s word to seek him and just like Mary, Martha’s sister who sat at the feet of Jesus so should we sit at his feet. Jesus said this is the “one thing” we should be concerned about. In his presence and in his word God will direct us on what we need to do and where we should go.
Tips to Prevent the Flu
With Flu season lasting until April, John, Pat, and Chris share some tips from CBN on how we can prevent the flu. Top on the list is washing our hands for at least 20 seconds with good lather and warm water. Disinfect surface areas that are touched often since the virus can remain on a surface for 2 days. They also share more tips including getting eight hours of sleep.
Victory, Shield, Guard, Protection and Salvation
Greg shares in this moment of wisdom from Proverbs 2:7-8 about how being upright before the Lord is not in vain, that He rewards us with victories when we do. How the Lord shields in our walk with Him and guards our course. Then he shares in the wisdom moment how God protects us. Be encouraged and listen and share this wisdom moment with your friends, family and social networks.
He (God) holds victory in store for the upright,
He is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,
for He guards the course of the just
and protects the way of His faithful ones.

Tribute To Farmers, Paul Harvey
John, Pat, and Chris play a recent Rams truck commercial with Paul Harvey former radio host speaking about the great things farmers do. This was a touching and realistic portrayal of the farmer and all they do. They continue to discuss the hard work of many that have made this country great.
Seed is just a seed until it dies
John, Pat and Chris discuss how when they first gave their hearts to the Lord they were filled with such gratitude that they wanted to give the Lord their lives and to do whatever they could for him. However, before the time that we can do something for God, God takes us on a journey called process. John 12:24 tells us that unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.” The nature of the seed is that inside the seed in an under developed and immature plant. We must be willing to leave what is and die to ourselves so that what God wants to bring forth in our lives and in his kingdom can come forth.
