Open Door in Heaven, The Presence of God; Our Need for Jesus!  Prophetic Encounter- Greg Lancaster

God speaks to His people, and He reveals His plans to us. “For God does speak—now one way, now another—though no one perceives it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on the people as they slumber in their beds.” Job 33:14-15 Many people had dreams that are written about in the Bible of what would take place in their lives. In the last days, the Bible says that we will have dreams and visions. This is the language of God! Not every dream is from God but the ones that are, are so amazing! Greg shares a dream that he had, and it is an encouraging encounter!

Greg is at VFN Dream Center as he shares this encounter he had with God. He starts speaking of the details of one dream. He was riding along in a car and talking to people about what God is doing, and they were not listening. He said that he wanted to go do what God was going to do and he said that Pat (Hamilton) would go. There were racial tensions going on in our nation in the dream. Then he started going up in the air and kept going up higher and higher. He thought about his family then he realized God had his family. He goes through a cloud, and then he ends up by a door that was just a regular door, and when he opened it up, it was a room full of cabinets, which was God saying that He was going to open earthly “doors” and that God is reestablishing His cabinet.

Greg says that he is sharing about a holy door, not an earthly door like in the dream above. A door like what is talked about in Revelation 4, “After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven.” And this door leads to the throne room of God written about in Isaiah 6.

“In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!” And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.”

There is something about coming into the presence and holiness of God that we become aware of our state! God draws near to us, but we must adjust our lives, He won’t adjust to us, and Jesus made a way for us to be right before God! Isaiah continues,  “And I said: “Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!” It is amazing that what Isaiah thought about at the throne of God was what he had been saying with his mouth. Greg talks about the Brownsville Revival and how it was amazing that many Pastors were saved at that revival. The ones who knew the scripture and professed to know God. Even the Pharisees had the Bible memorized and they were the ones who plotted to have Jesus killed. And, our words matter, what we say! We must be careful what we say and speak good things over situations and people. God speaks good things over us.

Even the angels covered their eyes in God’s presence, but Isaiah looked at God and lived. Isaiah’s encounter with the throne room of God continues, “Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar.  And he touched my mouth and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.” Isaiah’s encounter was before Jesus had died as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins.

We must remember that when God reveals Himself to not run from Him. When He reveals Himself and reveals sin in our lives, it is to give us an opportunity to get right with Him. God knows about our sin condition, and we can decide to leave our life of sin! Isaiah continues, “And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” God is always looking for those who will go and tell others about Jesus. That is what Jesus did when He was on the earth, For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” What must happen before you go and tell others about Jesus, you must encounter a holy God!

Isaiah allowed God to deal with his sin and we must be willing to deal with the sin in our lives. The enemy must constantly create new ways for people to sin because there is no lasting pleasure in sin. Our eyes are comparable to a black hole, which a black hole can never get enough. Your eye will never get enough! At some point, you must say that you will stop looking at whatever you are looking at because your eyes will never be satisfied. The Word of God calls this the lust of the eye. “For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.” And Jesus says, If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.” If what you are doing with your eyes is leading you to sin, instead of gouging your eyes out, take out that thing in your life that leads you astray. It could be anything that causes you to lust after something that is not yours, which is a sin! It is way easier to take out that thing, whether a show, secular news, the internet, your computer, phone, TV, etc., rather than to take out your eye.

There is nothing that fits in the presence of God, other than God! Not your religion, not your good works, not your possessions, not your ideas these things are only relevant if you have Jesus as your Lord and Savior. He is the only way to get to God. You don’t want to show up in heaven with nothing but Jesus! You can read our stories and how we came to make Jesus our Lord and Savior at Meet My Father. When you hear the full word be sure to ask God to reveal His throne room to you too! This puts everything into perspective since those of us that are saved will spend eternity in heaven. We want to be ready for the day that we will be at the judgment seat in heaven. You can get this full message at VFNKB Special Offers to hear the full word and be encouraged! We want to hear from you, you can write to us at [email protected]. Greg and John shared in this segment.

We must understand that God is holy. We can look at what sin does to people and see that it beats people up and tears them apart. We can make a choice ourselves to repent of our sin even if it separates us from those close to us.

Greg looks back at World War I and that people could not pull the trigger and kill the enemy. When World War II came around the soldiers had to be trained through role play of how to kill the enemy. Every person in these days has the choice to be already battle-hardened through the video games that they play every day! That is why people can go on a shooting rampage because it is how they role played on a virtual reality game. Why would anyone want to kill a person that is made in the image of God? That is darkness. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Matthew 24:37 In the days of Noah people constantly had their minds on evil! That means that we must be careful not to have our minds on evil. Also, we need to know what things are evil.

Greg shares his dream, where he saw double doors that were open 25% and he knew that the throne room of God was on the other side of the doors. He felt exactly how Isaiah felt in Isaiah 6. He asks the question; how do you explain righteousness? Because that is what he saw in the dream it was perfect righteousness. We can’t go into the presence of God trying to bargain with Him. God’s commands are not suggestions; they are not good ideas, they are commands. The best way to describe it is that His commands come from Him because it is Him and He is not going to be anything else. To have a relationship with Him, you must understand who He is and that He is holy. “Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.”  That is why the enemy works so hard to take down every man and woman of God and attacks them and the godly things in their lives with everything that he can because, if the marriage stands and the godly person stands through attacks of the enemy, then it proves that God exists.

We can choose to be free from sin today! The Brownsville Revival was known for that every single night, calling sin, sin and giving people a chance to repent for it plus being authentically real not religious. We should always think this, what if our thoughts and actions were written on the wall for all to see? Would that be okay, or would it show a mind and life of constant sin? Some people battle in an encounter with God when He reveals your sin that you don’t want to let go. But you can choose to let go of that sin and repent and turn to God! It would be a scary thing to have that moment to repent of your sin, yet to turn away still holding on to your sin.

Greg continues with John’s description in Revelation about the throne room of God. “After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” ESV   This is a big deal that John was asked to “come up here” when even the angels hide themselves from the holiness of God. God wants to bring you to Himself, but outside of accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior and living a holy life, you can’t come close to God.

“At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne. And he who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald. Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, with golden crowns on their heads. From the throne came flashes of lightning, and rumblings and peals of thunder, and before the throne were burning seven torches of fire, which are the seven spirits of God, and before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal.

“And around the throne, on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind: the first living creature like a lion, the second living creature like an ox, the third living creature with the face of a man, and the fourth living creature like an eagle in flight. And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and day and night they never cease to say,

“Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty,
who was and is and is to come!”

“And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

“Worthy are you, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they existed and were created.”
Revelation 4:2-11 ESV

You may wonder if God sees what you are doing every day, but He does see all that you do. People that Greg sees struggling with the glory of God, they are trying to take the glory and the honor and the power in their lives. If you are trying to go somewhere in life and draw near to God, you must give God all the glory, all the honor, and all the power! Jesus says, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’” ESV   God is holy, and it has nothing to do with what we do, with our works. What matters most is that we know God! And we need other believers in our lives! If you are isolated and all alone most likely, you are in sin. We all need people in our lives that will tell us the truth in love and lead us to repentance and closer to God.

God is always with you! Once you know anyone, you talk to them all the time which is how our relationship with God should be. God created us to be in fellowship with Him like how it was before Adam and Eve sinned and God made a way for that to be again. In Revelation, John continues with his description of what he saw, Then I saw in the right hand of him who was seated on the throne a scroll written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?” And no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to look into it, and I began to weep loudly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it.” ESV   There was nobody worthy to open the scroll, no one can get into the presence of God based on their works! There is only one way, through Jesus Christ, and you don’t want to show up in heaven with other gods. How many people will show up in heaven with their perception of who they thought God is, not understanding that He is a holy and righteous God!  ” And one of the elders said to me, John, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.” ESV   When you don’t know that there is another way all you can do is weep! This scroll, the title deed to earth, can be opened by Jesus! Jesus is not just a good idea; He is Lord! God wants to see Jesus when He sees you if He sees you and doesn’t see Jesus that is not good because you are not under the blood!

“So, Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. He who is a hired hand and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. He flees because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep. I am the good shepherd.” John 10:7-14

Many in the world are trying to remove the doorway, the access, to God, who is Jesus, by taking away Bibles, taking down crosses, making up other religions but there is no other way to God other than through Jesus. Any other way of trying to get to God other than Jesus is considered a thief and a robber.

Isn’t it interesting that most people can’t be silent anymore? Silence scares people. Mr. Fred Rogers, from Mister Rogers Neighborhood, said, “Real revelation comes through silence.” Why is the enemy causing you to have noise around you all the time? So that you can’t hear the voice of God! Greg said that during the Brownsville Revival he fell in love with silence. Sweet silence, in the presence of an awesome God. “The whole earth is full of His glory.” Isaiah 6:3  Why do young people fight the silence? Because they know that when the silence lands they are in the presence of a holy God and become aware of themselves. Why do you fight the silence?

Prisoners are given televisions to distract them from thinking about the fact that they are in prison. Many people are caught up in media and are distracted because the enemy doesn’t want them to know that they are in prison. It can distract you up until the time that you stand before God which it would be too late!

As believers we bear fruit! People should want to be around us because we are bearing fruit. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide…” John 15:16   You may think that your life will be forever on this earth, but life is fast! Eternity is forever! There is a harvest coming in, the end time harvest, wouldn’t it be sad to answer for the fact that we did nothing in those last days to help bring in the harvest. If we remember and understand that God is righteous and holy and for God to embrace us, we must remove sin from our life. He wants to pull you close and reveal Himself to you, and when you make Jesus the Lord of your life and you obey His commands and live a repentant life, you will be close to Him!

Open Door in Heaven; The Presence of God; Our Need for Jesus!  Part 4 – Prophetic Encounter- Greg Lancaster

LISTEN NOW!

The double doors are opening. Are you ready? God is not just a fire; He is a consuming fire! God loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to die for us! Jesus went to the cross not because He was wrong but because we were wrong. God gave His Son for you! God put our punishment on Jesus because He loves you! Sin separates us from God and the relationship you could have with Him so why would you want to have sin in your life? The rich young ruler walked away from God because he had many things and in America, we have many things, and many have chosen things over a relationship with God. We live in a blessed age, and this gives us a wonderful opportunity to obey the Lord and to help bring in thousands and thousands of souls into the Kingdom of God!

Greg shares about the glory of God and how amazing it is. He was in a Major’s office at the Department of Juvenile Justice and was sharing his testimony and the thick honey glory of God came into that room, and the Major started crying along with a Sergeant as they experienced the presence and glory of God. He said as he peeked into the door of heaven, it was awesome, he was in awe and he knew that there was nothing you could bring into the throne room of God. The only way you could survive in the throne room of God is if you have Jesus.

Historically when people approached a King, they had to have a good countenance to come before the King. We are responsible for our face and must be aware of what is coming across our face as we come before God and minister to people. Remember to smile!

Hell was not created for mankind, but it was created for the fallen angels. We have a choice to go to hell when we reject Jesus. We are at a moment in time where we must get sin out of our lives, make Jesus the Lord of our lives, and walk in the fear and holiness of God. Sin can’t exist in God’s presence. Do you know where you would be if you died today? If not, you can decide to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life!

Everyone will die and instantly be at the judgment seat of Christ. Stephen Hawking, an atheist, died recently and he met God at the judgment seat of Christ. Everyone will be there! Is your relationship with God based on only the works that you do, your religious acts? Or do you know God and have that abiding relationship with Him? If not, you can make the decision today without letting another moment pass, to make Jesus the Lord of your life! If you don’t acknowledge your sin now, you will be acknowledging it at the throne room of God, but then it will be too late. The Church is so busy right now with all their games and things and schedules that it doesn’t even have time to reach out to the one who is lost and wants to live for God. Because of this many who come to Jesus end up being devoured by the enemy because the Church doesn’t reach out to them and help them. Maybe you don’t know God, or maybe you have been too busy with things to truly live your life as Jesus has called us to live it? Believers are called to seek and save the lost just like Jesus did. You can read our testimonies and see how we made that decision to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and to seek and save the lost, at Meet My Father. We want to hear from you! You can write to us at [email protected]. You can also get this full message at VFNKB Special Offers to hear the full word and be encouraged!
