LISTEN NOW! No one situation is the whole story. There is a back story. There is history that led up to the present reality. How did we get here? At present day, there has never been more slavery in the world than what is taking place today. Franklin Graham and Samaritan’s Purse has taken a recent trip to Cambodia, near the North Western border of Thailand to witness firsthand how human trafficking and slavery are affecting lives. According to Samaritan’s Purse, ‘200 years ago a slave was worth $10,000 American dollars. Today, that same individual can be sold for $90. Human life is regarded as disposable.’ As Cambodians are traveling across this border, young and old, they are being caught and ensnared into this darkness. Samaritan’s Purse is sharing relevant knowledge to help educate those in this area how to travel safely and provide for their family, and most importantly, the Gospel of Jesus Christ. How we live our lives matters to God; and how we respond to realities such as this is equally as important. Hear the encouraging reports of how the message of Jesus Christ is reaching across the nations, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: Pol Pot, the Vietnam War, sex trafficking, sex slavery, human trafficking, Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel, and evangelism. Greg and John shared in this segment.
