Heart of Nehemiah: Government Leadership STUCK, because Church Leadership STUCK, Chuck Pierce (Part 5 of 13)

Greg and Pat discuss the secret to rebuilding the church in America.  Chuck Pierce says that the reason the governmental leaders are stuck is because church leadership is stuck.  The church needs rebuilding.  Things are progressing and the attacks don’t stop. Sometimes we need to go through these buffering experiences.  You must realize that people’s tongues will be set on fire by hell.  This further underscores the importance of not just letting anyone speak in your ears and in the ears of your spouse and children.   Nehemiah 4: 3 tells us that the mocking and ridicule continued “What they are building—even a fox climbing up on it would break down their wall of stones!”

Satan tries to talk against the strength or your lack thereof but we trust in the strength and will of God.  There are huge consequences for laying your hands and mouth on the things of God.  That’s why you can have compassion like Moses did for Miriam because he knew she was speaking against God and not him.  Some might just need to step away from it otherwise they will possibly suffer great pain.

We often say that we want just enough government that if God takes his hands off of it it would fall apart.   You would think that Satan would give up.  Nehemiah realizes that if we are going to continue the work they will have to pray.   Don’t take the bait don’t talk back to the mockers but instead talk to God. (Prayer)  Nehemiah 4:4-5 says  he “Hear us, our God, for we are despised.   Give them over as plunder in a land of captivity.  Do not cover up their guilt or blot out their sins from your sight, for they have thrown insults in the face of the builders.”  

However, we are not going to pray insults on people. We will not begin to hate the haters.  However, you can pray for them to stop,  for their eyes to be open, for them to give their lives to Jesus.  Don’t become a hater pray for deliverance while we are praying for God’s flock.   Give people room for repentance.   They rebuilt the walls to the point that the walls were built up to half the height.  They turned to God; they did not turn against their enemies. All we need to do is to run after God.  If you are going to do a work for God you will need to have a continual life of prayer and abiding with Him.
