Currently, in America, it appears that justice is being held back by our Justice Department. This needs to be our prayer, for God’s justice to come down like a mighty river, as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., said. We are also called to pray for those in leadership and authority, and right now they need our prayers more than ever. “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:1-4 (ESV) God is speaking to us through His Word how we can have a peaceful and quiet life. Right now, in America, it is not quiet and peaceful, and because of this, we need to ask ourselves some questions. Are we being critical and complaining about our leaders or are we praying for them? God can change our leadership, and He is waiting for us, the Church, to pray for our leaders. This isn’t just limited to governmental leaders; we must pray for industry leaders, pastors, parents, teachers and anyone who is in a position of authority and leadership! As we can see in America, there is much rebellion against leadership. The definition of rebellion is the action or process of resisting authority, control, or convention. In Romans, it is written that those in authority are established by God. “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.” God has put all people of authority in their place. Rebelling against the authority God has established is resisting against God. 1 Samuel says that rebellion is a sin of divination which is witchcraft! “For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and presumption is as iniquity and idolatry.” We see that witchcraft is taking place in America because rebellion and witchcraft are the same thing. Also, presumption is taking place in our nation. The definition of presume is to take for granted, assume, to undertake (to do something) without right or permission, to go too far in acting un-warrantably or in taking liberties. Basically, doing whatever you want without thinking of the consequences without thinking about authority or the U.S. Constitution if you are in America. A narrative is being pushed to create a behavior to cause people to follow a certain movement. This is taking place all over our nation and many, including the secular media, are completely taken over by this wrong narrative. We must pray because this is an ungodly narrative taking place in America.
Pastor John Kilpatrick, the pastor of Church of His Presence, speaks specifically about the witchcraft that is in our nation and what the Church needs to do to come against this spirit. We join Pastor Kilpatrick at the end of his message concerning witchcraft, and he talks about the Jezebel spirit which is the same thing as witchcraft because anyone moving in the Jezebel spirit moves in rebellion against authority. He starts with a scripture speaking about Jezebel. “And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?” Pastor Kilpatrick continues, “Don’t stumble over that word witchcraft, when Elijah was facing Jezebel he was facing witchcraft…what is happening right now in America is witchcraft is trying to take this country over. It’s witchcraft trying to take America back over…I am not being political, but I don’t see how President Trump bears up under it. He is as strong as I have ever seen a man be. Here is what the Holy Spirit said to me last night…He said, ‘Tell the Church that so far Trump has been dealing with Ahab, but Jezebel is about to step out of the shadows…he, President Trump, has been dealing with this pray for him now because there is about to be a shift and the deep state is about to manifest, and it’s going to be a showdown like you can’t believe.’ I am coming to you as a prophet…I am telling you it is time to pray for the President.” Pastor Kilpatrick read the scripture above again and said, “Witchcraft was in full control and witchcraft is what knocked Elijah right out of his position…I heard the Lord say, ‘There is going to be an attempt to take him, President Trump, out of power.’” It is time to pray for President Trump!
As Pastor Kilpatrick talked about Jezebel, Greg expounds on the Jezebel spirit and how to recognize someone that is under the influence of that spirit. One way to recognize the Jezebel spirit is that it likes to stay in the background. The Jezebel spirit embraces all religions but does not follow the one true God even though it can appear that way, but someone under the influence of that spirit does not want to follow God’s ways and submit to God. Another thing the Jezebel spirit is known for is the sacrifice of children to moloch, which in America it is abortion, the murder of unborn children. The next thing this Jezebel spirit is known for is how to get its way. This spirit will make you miserable, lie, twist things to get its way. Anyone under the influence of this spirit truly believes that what they are doing is right. The truth is though, that you must surrender your free will to the adversary to be used in this way. Anyone in leadership must take responsibility to get the Jezebel spirit out! Whether you are a pastor or a parent, it is your job to rise up and get that spirit out of your church and your family. When the Jezebel spirit is out of our churches and families that is when we can shine the light of Christ to the world and be the true Church! We must say zero tolerance to the Jezebel spirit. As the Spirit said to the Church in Thyatira, “‘I know your works, your love and faith and service and patient endurance, and that your latter works exceed the first. But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants…’” The Jezebel spirit seduces and leads people away from the truth, and we can see that this has taken place in America. Pastor Kilpatrick said at this point in America we have only been dealing with the spirit of Ahab, but now Jezebel is going to rise up, which is fierce. The difference between a true prophet and a false prophet is that a true prophet is bold, and a false prophet is fierce. Which we can see that many false and fierce prophecies are being declared in America.
Greg continues with ways on how to recognize the Jezebel spirit. He talks about how in the Bible King Ahab handed his authority over to Jezebel because she said she would take care of getting a piece of property that the King wanted. She made up a false document saying false things about the owner of that property and signed it with the King’s signet ring and made it look like the King wrote the document. She was able to get false witnesses to say bad things about this man, and he was stoned because of the false document and false witnesses just so that they could get this piece of land. But we know that God is a just God! In the end, King Ahab ended up getting hit with an arrow on that piece of stolen land, and he bled out and died. We can’t fight against God and win! There may be a moment in time where it seems someone is winning who is under the influence of the Jezebel spirit but in the end, God will win. You will be held accountable for whether you choose to take authority over this spirit or not! Make sure to watch or listen to hear more. Pray for everyone in authority because this spirit is trying to push all authority out of their place.
