Don’t Partner with the Accuser!
There was a day when people were convicted based on evidence in America, but now people are being accused of things, and people believe the accusation! It is now common to believe the victim versus believing the evidence. God says something specifically about accusations, and we look at that to find out what He says about it.
“And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.” Revelation 12:10 ESV
The “accuser” is satan, and he accuses day and night! The accuser divides you from your destiny, from your spouse, parents, and pastor. He divides through accusation, and people who believe the accusations start to do things like they have the authority to do it when, in fact, they are partnering with the enemy. If we have no authority with something, then we shouldn’t be talking about it, and in America, many people are talking about things when they have no authority on the subject! We can choose to pray for that situation or person versus talking about it with others.
How often do we listen to people and without thinking, just agree with what they are saying? But it matters who we listen to and what we come into agreement with! King David, written of in the Bible, knew about accusations.
“I am an object of scorn to my accusers; when they see me, they wag their heads.” Psalm 109:25 ESV
People were wagging their heads at King David because they partnered with satan and were divided from their authority. The enemy wants you to be divided from anything that is of God! Think about this, you were doing great at work until a fellow employee accused your supervisor of something and now you have this accusing thought, which is a spirit, so every time you look at your boss, you think of this accusation. You can’t listen to lies because satan is the father of lies according to Jesus, and when you believe lies and repeat lies that is partnering with satan. The enemy does not want you to succeed at anything in your life! He will do all that he can to separate you from your church, your family, your calling, your destiny, and any authority in your life.
King David was a man after God’s own heart, called out from tending sheep to be the king of Israel. Even still, people accused him all the time when all David was doing was what God had called him to do. Jesus spoke of the enemy and what his purpose is on the earth.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:10 ESV
Jesus’ words should open our eyes to see when someone is stealing our peace, killing our spirit, destroying our relationships, which mean we have partnered with the thief, satan. Children can be used by the enemy to divide parents against each other as the child sows words of accusation, many times unknowingly partnering with the enemy. As parents, you must deal with any accusations in your family and deal with the accusing spirit because Jesus said a house or kingdom divided against itself will fall!
“Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand.” Matthew 12:25 ESV
Anyone in a family who partners with the enemy by accusing other family members must repent and restore unity in the family. Also, in America, accusations are being sown non-stop in media everywhere! People agree with the accusations very easily, and it has caused division in our nation, and if we don’t repent, then our nation will fall.
In America, we are E Pluribus Unum: out of many, one, and we are one nation under God, with liberty and justice for all. But now things are being changed because of the division in our nation saying: though we are one, we are many; now being known for something that divides us instead of uniting us. Since this is happening, it is trickling through our nation, and it has caused division everywhere!
Why do people accuse others? Many accuse others because they are not aware they are partnering with the enemy, then there are those that knowingly accuse others because they know they are doing something wrong and want to distract you from the truth. If they were doing the right thing, then they would do it!
We must pay attention to the people we have in our lives because you could get divided from the very thing that God has for you. If someone is accusing others to you, then they will accuse you to others. If you hear an accusation, then you must deal with it right away and call it for what it is. If it is a lie, call it a lie and don’t allow that spirit to stay in your spirit, your office, your church, or your home! You should not want anything to do with accusations, partnering with satan.
If you live in the south, you may have heard of a deviled egg. It is a boiled egg that is cut in half with the yolk taken out to be mixed and beat together with other ingredients like mayo and pickles and then put back in the egg. This is a divided egg and it is a great example of what satan wants to do to us.
I am sure many of us have seen someone who gives their life to the Lord, and they are blessed and happy. Then sadly, we watch as they become separated from you and God as they believe the accusations of the enemy. Satan will never take you on a good path! He will use things like a job promotion, things and stuff, or a relationship to pull you away from the plans that God has for you and the connection that you have to the body of Christ, the Church.
Could you imagine if your body parts were not connected? If your organs were divided and went everywhere, then you would die. We are called to be united, and it is written in the Bible that God calls His Church to be united. Jesus said,
“I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.” John 17:23 ESV
“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore.” Psalm 133 ESV
The only things you can do to get connected back to your church and your family is to repent of the accusations! When you repent, you can be restored into that place of unity. As a believer, we should always be seeking unity and loving others. Don’t be divided from what God has called you to because that is a miserable place and Jesus said we will be judged for every word that we say.
“I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak…” Matthew 12:36 ESV
Choose today to turn completely from those accusations knowing that we are all fallen people and choose to not be an accuser anymore. Repentance will bring a newness to your walk with God again. Maybe you haven’t made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life, and you realize that you have been an accuser but are ready to repent, you can do that today and be forgiven!
