LISTEN NOW! Greg, Pat and John share about a recent discussion and presentation given by Lance Wallnau. Often times we forget that the church is a people, not a building. Jesus said, “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” When we come together, we are the church, not the building, or where we gather. In light of this, the Bible shares of the journey that Kind David endured, through his time in the cave, to being able to take down the giants of the land. In history, the gates of a city were where the authority and leadership would meet in order to make decisions. Jesus talks about how the gates of hell would not prevail against the church. The authority of the church has power over the authority of hell. “We become the government that vetoes the government of hell.” Jesus continues again by saying, “the heavenly bodies will be shaken” Matthew 24:29. As God shakes everything that can be shaken, the armies of evil and darkness will be shaken, to the point that those held captive by the armies of darkness will be shook loose and set free by the power of Jesus Christ. As darkness increases throughout the world, we can be encouraged in the knowledge that the light of Jesus Christ will shine brighter. Enjoy this encouraging moment as you learn an insightful understanding of the intensifying world events, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: evil, boldness, remnant, spiritual wickedness, worship, Tabernacle of David, and prayer.
