Have fun along with them as you find out how long Pat lasted, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: humor, baseball, Pensacola Wahoos, New Orleans Saints, humor, family, and insomnia.

The Secret to Being an Overcomer; No matter the Trial, Setback, or Hardship You CAN Overcome
John, Pat and Steve share how currently society’s expectation for life appears to be perfection. There is an expectation in life for a good time, spouse, job, etc. The devil would want us to focus on the struggles, what we don’t have, and not on Jesus. Jesus said: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” –John 16:33
It is the difficult moments, the hardships that cause us to grow up in Christ and mature in Christ. We cannot have the victories without first going through the battles. When you encounter the hardships in life, step up, step in, and step through, God has created you to be an overcomer. They continue to share about a young man named Nick had a few hardships in his life and how he overcame. Be encouraged and lifted up as you learn how to overcome what the devil would intend for bad, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: faith, crisis, Nick Vujicic, trials, perfection, and perspective.
The Gas station of God: Avoiding Spiritual Burnout

Steve, Pat and John encourage us as they show how some people could be shocked that Marines can sleep for days at a time. It is because of rest that they are able to do what they are called to do on the front lines. There must be a time of resting, calmness, and relaxing, especially in Christ. We cannot simply stop doing; we must stop and rest in God. To continue to go without resting in God is like stopping on an empty tank of gas and then driving again without filling up your tank. They continue to share how similar that is to what happened in the life of Evangelist Evan Roberts, and the Welsh Revival. His greatest strength was his greatest weakness. Without resting, we are susceptible to attack. Be refreshed in this abiding moment, as you learn how to keep those falling moments from becoming captured moments, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: abiding, repose, religion, the Holy Spirit, Welsh Revival, The World on Fire, and God’s Generals.
