LISTEN NOW! John, Pat and Chris discuss a recent song that was written by an 18 year old who was dying of bone cancer, Zach Sobiech. This song has now been viewed over 7.7 million times and according to Charisma News at one point reached No. 1 on iTunes music charts. They continue to discuss how there are few things in life more sobering than having received a death sentence. Instead of complaining and staying in a depressed state of mind Zach took hold of the little life he had left and did something with it. He wrote a song that has touched many around the world. He didn’t give up but invested his gift and lived in the moment. They challenge us to stop focusing our attention down the road as if “down the road” is promised to us. They challenge us to live in the moment. Many people fear many things but what should be of a great concern to us is to live a life of insignificance before God. Your life is God’s gift to you but what you do with your life is your gift to God. They remind us to have faith in God; it’s not over just begin again and do all you can, for all that you can, in the time you have. Give it all to Jesus and leave nothing on the field of life.
