Rowan County N.C. County Commissioners can’t Pray in Jesus Name
LISTEN NOW! Greg, John, and Pat discuss the importance of the hiding place; the place we are alone with God. Psalm 32:7-8 says “You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. They continued to share how important it is not to respond to be in haste but rather let people know that you will need some time to abide on that. They challenge us by asking the question where has all the masculine worship to God gone? Worship songs today have many feminine overtones that make it quite difficult for men to worship. One thing Promise Keepers taught us as we reflect upon their ministry that men would respond to worship that is masculine and songs that that declare the deliverance of the Lord. When we engage God in the hiding place and worship God in multidimensional ways that hinder any perspective of who He is: He will instruct, teach, and counsel us with his loving eye on us.
