LISTEN NOW! America is a blessed land and often times, for those that live in America, we lose sight of the reality that other nations in the world are not living with the same blessings. The realities within India’s slums highlight this truth. According to CBN, 1 in 6 live in a slum. That adds up to roughly 65 million people. “…The estimates are that by 2017, India’s slums population will surge to a staggering 104 million.” That is nearly 1/3 of the population of the United States.
With such profound poverty, one could think, “I’m just one person, what can I do?” Anna Sekulow, founder and executive director of “One Life Movement” sought an answer to that question; and she is making remarkable strides in the lives of those in India. In an interview with CBN, Sekulow shares about how God’s work is being witnessed and children’s lives are being transformed.
What is happening in the nation of India is just one of ALL the nations that Jesus commands us to make disciples within. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus said “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations.” We are called to be Global Christians, not just Christians in America. Hear the full story of what is taking place in India, how we can impact the nations, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: CBN, love, evangelism, One Life Movement, hope, prayer, and obedience. John and Steve shared in this segment.
