In the prophetic dream, Greg saw the glory of God, His presence, poured out in a school. This school seemed like it was an elementary school, and the kids were flowing in the glory of God as God’s presence moved through the school. People were singing, and children prayed for children, and even adults started coming to the school because they were drawn to the presence of God! Suddenly, Jennifer Lopez showed up, and she was touched deeply by the presence and glory of God so much that she wanted to do something for God. She was a significant part of that move of God.

Justin Bieber Takes a Deep Dive into His Faith

God is moving in the Entertainment Mountain! In recent days there have been many different people in the entertainment industry who have given their lives to the Lord, including Kanye West and Justin Bieber. We hear from Justin Bieber as he is interviewed on Apple Music with Zane Lowe. There are a series of questions Justin answers, so be sure to watch them all. This is encouraging as he shares his faith in Christ!

As Justin talks with Zane, he shares how he took a deep dive into his faith in Jesus Christ, which should encourage us all to take a deep dive in our faith! This was in a time when he stepped out of the spotlight for almost two years. “I really took a deep dive in my faith, to be honest…I believed in Jesus, but…when it [Scripture] says following Jesus is actually turning away from sin and so, what it talks about in the Bible, there is no obedience, there is no faith without obedience. I had a faith like I believe Jesus died on the cross for me, but I never really implemented it into my life.”

This should encourage us to ask these same questions and examine ourselves. It is one thing to believe in Jesus, but our actions should line up by obeying Him.

“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” James 2:17

Our works do not save us, but what we do is a byproduct of faith in Jesus. In the western world, it is being taught differently, which has confused new followers of Jesus, where you can have faith, but you don’t have to change your actions to line up with God’s Word. Justin Bieber Shares What was the Turning Point in His Faith

Justin shares with Zane what the turning point was in his faith. He had to learn who Jesus is because he had many bad examples in his life of people who called themselves believers but didn’t live any different than unbelievers. “It was my perception of who Jesus really was. I had really bad examples of Christians in my life who would say one thing and do another. But they were my direct example of who Jesus was.” He says that is why he didn’t take his faith seriously at first. His mom was a Christian but was hurt and was on her own faith journey, so she would say one thing but do the opposite. It confused Justin.

He was made to feel ashamed for the times that he messed up, but that is not who Jesus is! He took our shame on the cross! Shame produces more of the same, so you will never come out of sin if you are under a spirit of shame. Yes, we should feel bad for our sins, but once we repent, we must believe and receive the forgiveness, by faith, that Jesus offers everyone. Have you had a turning point in your faith? Justin Bieber Answers How He Sees His Relationship with Jesus

Justin shares how he sees his relationship with Jesus as he explains the correct perspective of how we should see Jesus and have a relationship with Him outside of religious works. “The way I look at my relationship with God, with Jesus is, I’m not trying to earn God’s love by doing good things. God has already loved me for who I am before I did anything to earn and deserve it. It’s a free gift by accepting Jesus and giving your life to Him. What He did is the gift. Forgiveness is the thing that we look at, and ‘I’m going to worship You, God because You gave me something so good.’ I live a life where I don’t want to cheat on my wife, not because it’s the right thing to do but because I don’t want to hurt her.” That is love by putting someone above yourself.

Approaching God with the idea that we are earning His love is wrong because that is walking in self-righteousness. It is only because He loved us first that we can love Him. Religion, which is trying to earn God’s love, will make us turn away from God instead of turning to Him. Having a relationship with God and receiving His love will make us want to turn to Him, even when we mess up! This is what Justin was saying, and through that realization and coming to love Jesus; he wants to obey Him. Obedience is a byproduct of loving the Lord.

Zane askes Justin that if he hadn’t reclaimed his relationship with Jesus, does he feel that he was on a path of self-destruction? “Oh, for sure, I would have for sure, 100%, definitely. It would have been no good. It was bad. I don’t know if I’d be alive for sure. It was dark, really dark.”

Maybe you are on a path of self-destruction, and many people are on that path right now because a dark spirit has been over the land, pushing people to that place. And striving after that.”

Many people just try to preach at others, but it is what we do that truly affects others and can lead them to Jesus. Saint Francis Assisi said, “Preach the Gospel at all times. When necessary, use words.” It was people just living their life for the Lord that helped Justin. Just living our life right before the Lord will bring His light to the lost. It is that simple. Justin shares how God accepts us even when we are in pain and dirty! “I feel like God, when He sees us, He is not this God that a lot of people think that He is like judgmental, and He is a God that accepts us for who we are and is with us through our pain and our dirt. Jesus wasn’t this religious elite…He was in the dirt, He found me in my dirt and pulled me out.” Jesus came to the earth to walk as we walk and live as we live, yet He did it without sin. Religion says we are too dirty to be saved by Jesus, but that is exactly why Jesus came to the earth and lived as we do, then died and rose again. So that He can save us!

“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet He did not sin.” Hebrews 4:15
